The caller left a voicemail (sounded like a prerecorded message):
"Go ahead and give me a call back at 855-883-2001. Its regarding your tax filings and your tax debt. I have some great news for you. The September 2025 new programs have taken place that can help you reduce or even eliminate what you owe so its imperative to speak to you just as soon as possible so I can help you with everything that you need. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. Again my number again is 855-883-2001. Have a great day."
Just yesterday I received a call from 831-471-6295 (caller ID) and said to call back at 855-503-8004. It was the same voice on the voicemail message and almost the exact same message. Basically only the phone number changed and the month for the "new programs".
Based on research others have reported the 855-883-2001 as some sort of tax debt scam.- Caller: Unknown-did not say
