I have 10 charges totalling $139.86 from this number on my last bill. I've just spent 30min on the phone trying to reach Telstra through their ridiculous voice recognition system and sitting on hold but finally got the credit for this amount.

I too just received a Telstra bill including almost $100 worth of calls to this 1900 number! The calls were definitely never made and no-one was even home when some of them were supposedly made. I just reported it to Telstra and have had the amount removed from my bill. I also let them know about this site and how many complaints there have been about the same number. The Telstra man said he would report this to his boss and they would look into it.

have just had telstra wipe these costs...4 x $13.97 from my bill. took 3 40min phone calls!
they tell me that they have had no complaints about this number (bulls*&t)
it belongs to a company called "cloudtel"

We have had 8 calls to this number recorded on our fax line with no handset.We didnt make these calls. After 3 long phone calls to them, Australia Star (our provider) say we have to pay- This is bull [***]!

Just got a bill from AAPT - 4 x 13.97 .... Can't have been us that made them .......DEFINETELY SUSPECT!!!

Thank you so much for posting re your experiences with this number. It was very helpful when I found one of these charges (for a call we clearly did not make). I rang Telstra and she credited the amount.  She also barred 1900 number dialling from our phone, which gave me a some peace of mind. Kate

Telstra charge of $13.97 for supposedly calling this number.  My wife and I havenever called a 19 number.  Telstra saying they are investigating!!

Go to Telecommunication Ombudsmen (TIO) with complaint to sort!

No problems mate ... it is concerning but i had to jump through hoops to get it refunded im more concerned for my privacy but ...

I got done in Park Steeet 4 x $13.97 calls..Telstra have refunded...

Wow after checking my bill I was unsure what the number was and decided to google and I got to this page.   Will thanks so much for the link, so good to know that it confirms these numbers really aren't mine..  I had two calls at $13.97 so I will need to call AAPT and see what they say and hopefully they will remove it.

Waz - we got done too for 1x call at $13.97 when we weren't home. Just called Telstra and they credited my account straight away.
