- kemi mI recieved a call from this number today from a Sean Lewis saying that he was from Law firm did not say from what law firm and that I needed to call back and speak with Daniel Bush because he would not be able to hold my case for to much longer. I called the number back and at first it rang back disconnected and the second time it was busy and the third time it was busy. If you are a true law firm you would have a recording and you would have to hold for a representative. The same people called me a couple of weeks ago from different number with the same crap. I do not know who these people are and what they want, well I know what they want. I just want them to stop calling me. Can some please give me some insight as to what I can do?
- EmmaIve Been getting these Phone calls From a Peter Brown very heavy Mid-Eastern accent. I could not understand what he is trying to tell me but then he left a message Say that the second I got this message I better call him or have my attorney call him or I will be sorry and I get what's coming to me. I saved the message. I have never had a payday loan nor have been interested in one but he left this 201-234-4071 to call back I got a busy signal.

- Rachel RI have recieved these same calls starting today, from 201-234-4071. My concern is that they had my bank information as well as information on friends of mine...has anyone else had these reports from the caller? They threatened to contact my employeer and tell them what is happening. The also had my work phone number and were calling me there as well. I was told that the "authorities" would be arriving at my work to "drag me to the court house"...scary!
- EdSomeone named 'Anthony, Anthony Foster' with an
Indian accent called saying that I, or my attorney on record should call the second I received this message. This matter was extremely time sensitive, and if I didn't contact him right away, then all he could wish me was good luck with my 'case'.
I tried to call the number to find out who the f... this idiot was, and the number is no longer in service????- Caller: unknown
- shileshiai have been getting calls from this number every day for the past week. today the same guy called twice. i guess he messed up on his script the first time and got confused so he hung up and then called again and left the message again this time finishing his script. they first started calling me from a 954 area code and now they call me from a "private number". who the hell are these people. they are crazy!!!
- Paula ShanklesGot a call from a guy named Jim something. Told him to give me a number and I would call back. He gave me 201-234-4071. Looked it up and apparently I am not alone. He said I had a complaint against me, but I didn't listen long enough to hear any more.
- AmyPlease...how can I make them STOP???? They have been calling constantly, are getting really threatening, and are now calling at work. It's really upsetting. What can I say to make them stop?
- Caller: unknown
- LindaHas anyone actually had a conversation with these people? Everytime I return the call, I get a busy signal. I started getting calls yesterday (6/1/09). They asked for me, left a message then called right back and asked for someone else. This was on my cell phone. Same messages as the ones listed here. It's obvious they're reading a script because the call I got today, said "This message is for priority mail..." then repeated it and used my name. I did have a payday loan over a year ago using my work and cell as my contact numbers. I get a call on my cell & work phones.
- Maria D.I received a call yesterday morning and this morning from this number. From the same guy who's been calling me up - a "Peter Brown." from a previous write-up I did, he's the same person that called me last Friday at my work number. It is disturbing to have such calls because they make your day - right? This morning, I called the same number back and guess what? Someone answered. I immediately asked for their physical address, name of the company and the principal. It wasn't a law firm this time I called, it was the Crime Monitoring Center, located at 1432 Hoffman Lane, Campbell, CA and the principal's name of the company is Jonathan Davis. Take note everyone: go on to www.zillow.com and enter the address - it's a home that just got sold recently! Be careful and never give any of your pertinent information out to people like these (with that South Asian accent). Read the statute of limitations and report them to the Federal Trade Commission and Attorney General's office. These people are hackers! This morning, they even made mention of some of my relatives names. Warn your relatives - not to entertain these calls. I am so very mad that animals like these take advantage of people like us. I can't wait for the next call I get. These people make my day! Don't let them scare you either - they're doing things against the law! Do a little research and know your rights! I tried calling this number this evening and guess what - it's disconnected AGAIN! What number will it be tomorrow?!?!?
- Caller: "Peter Brown"

- laughingI have been getting calls from the 201-234-4071. I ignored them, then I got ticked. I reporte them to every government agency I could think of. If they call again, I have a small voice activated digital recorder and I will record their conversations. I saw the house listed on Hoffman Lane in California. The vice squad may show up there. Ignore them, they can do nothing. Just consider it your laugh of the day.

- LindaJust got my 3rd and final warning (LOL!!) They said they were coming to my job to pick me up.
- DottieI got this call at work and on my home voice mail Can not understand a word she said sounds like she is calling from a busy train station not a office(thats my opinion) to much noise so I have no intention of calling her back I do have payday loans but they are being paid so have no idea how she got my number or what her scam is
- Lisa M.I have received a phone calls at work and home from this number starting on June 1st. I have asked them to remove me from their calling list and that I have reported them to the FTC (they asked what that was) and they hung up but the next day I got the calls again. I am not sure when they get the hint that I am on to their game and am not going to pay them a cent.

- Chad Bickel"This message is intended for Chad Bickel. Chad, the very second you receive this message, I need you to call your Attorney." Felicia Vorg is her name (supposedly).
"Don't disregard this message. Return the call. Now Chad, if you don't return the call and I don't hear from you either, all I can say is good luck and goodbye. The situation unfolds on you."
I received this on my work phone while i was on the line with a customer on May 26, May 27 and May 28 - BI got a call from an unknown number, and told that the internet payday loan company was threatening to sue me because I hadn't paid back my loan. The funny thing is that I never actually took out a loan from them (I was actually rejected). They asked me if I wanted to fight the affidavit legally or if I wanted to settle out of court. I told them that I wanted to talk to a lawyer first. They asked me again if I wanted to fight or settle, and I repeated that I wanted to talk to a lawyer first and follow his advice.
The "officer" said his name was Kenny Spencer, and he had a thick, Indian accent. Sounded like he was following a script. He said that I had one hour to call him back at 562-286-5777.
NOTE: When someone sues you, shouldn't you receive official legal mail from a district or magisterial court of some sort? I'm not a lawyer, but that would make much more sense.- Caller: Department of Law, Officer Kenny Spencer
- Brandi from MichiganI got a call from a guy calling himself Officer Steven Smith, he told me I needed to call him back or have my attorney call him back. I thought it was just a prank and ignored the calls. I got about 7 in a row. I called him and he went on with some bullcrap about I owed US National Bank 500.00. I knew I did not so I told him he was a lier and hung up. Then he calls again and my daughter answers the phone and he tells her that I'm going to be arrested and we are in danger. It took a lot of convincing for me to get my child to believe this was a scam. The law was suppose to come pick me up he said in two days, Its been 60 and I'm still waiting for the law. I dare he scare my child like this, he can kiss my double cheeks but when you mess with my child you have to pay. He will pay, sooner or later, he will get whats due him.
EVERYONE BEWARE, DON'T SEND THIS DEVILS ANY MONEY. TELL THEM TO SHOVE IT!. Report them to the Police, FTC, BBB, Secret Service and your state's attorney general- Caller: Scammers with Indian Accents
- BixbyI have encountered the same crap as the other post. From the very first call I knew it was a scam. The guy gave me his badge number and called himself Officer John Conner. They are terrorist set up in India, trying to scam US citizens so they can gather enough money to do another 911. Everyone beware of these dogs. Report them so INTERPOL can shut them down. Don't even talk to them, you may notice they don't use 1-888 or 1-800 numbers. So the dime is on them. Punks, I wish they would come knocking at my door.
- Caller: Foreigners scamming americans
- Larry FosterPeople on this post, THIS IS A SCAM...These people cannot do anything to you but call you. Ignore them, tell them you know its a scam, and when they figure out they can't scare you then they will move on and find another target. Stay calm when you talk to them and tell them that come HELL OR HIGHWATER you will Never send them one red cent, then tell them you are reporting them to the US Secret Service and the FBI.
