This number has called my on call work number several times from April 4th til April 12th. I was reluctant to block it thinking it may have been work related.  I answer and it disconnects or it just rings once.  I tried to call back but got a delay on the answer and hung up (like a voice message was going to start); I will not call it back.

called at 625 EST 1 Ring hung up they have called multiple times trying, different times of day and night/evening.

Called at 10:30 EST, the phone only rang once

Same thing as above. Phone call at 10:05pm. One ring, hung up, no message. From New Jersey.

Got a call at 9pm from this number. No massage.  

One ring at 11:00 eastern. Didn't call back. What happened to DNC list??

Received call from 201-279-5860 March 24 and call from 201-279-5863. Neither one was answered (I know better) and neither one left a message. I wouldn't be surprised if they got my phone # from resumes I just posted on Monster and Career Builder. The above $100.00 scam sounds just like the scam from 731-201-0118, which called me today. I reviewed post regarding that number and many of the people had resumes on Monster. I'm thinking about removing my resume now because of that.

Called 10:05 PM CT. on 4/15/14 Don't these idiots know not supposed to call after 9pm. These scam call's are getting out of hand.. Time something was done about them. My phone # is on the DNC list.

Don't call back these unknown numbers that ring only once.  According to the Hartford Courant there is a scam afoot that rings you just once to tease you into calling back to find out who it was.  When you initiate a call to that number, you will be charged a fee like you were calling a 900 number.

They called me on 4/14/14.  According to several of the above comments, those people who answered and received a message saying "this is Julie" and saying you have won a contest or a gift card is the same message I have received from numerous other area codes across the country.  Obviously, this scam is cycing through several areas of the country to make it more difficult to find them.  I strongly suggest everyone report this abuse to the FCC DNC complaint line -http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/do-not-call-list
