Same MO as others wrote.  Thick Indian accent.  Did not at first understand him.  Something about my computer needing something.  I hung up in about 30 seconds.  Phone ID as NJ origin.

Got this on my cell. Usually don't answer, but my in laws are from NJ. His very thick Indian accent was hard to understand, but I think he said he was calling to help with my Windows computer. I told him he must have a wrong number, since I hadn't used a Windows product up in years and hung up. Usually I would not bother responding to an obvious phishing call, and this number is now blocked, for all the good that does.

I want this person at this number to stop calling me

I have had several calls from this number claiming that i have a Microsoft virus. I asked to be placed on the do not call list as i am not interested in help. He said he "is not interested in doing that for me". I asked for a manager or supervisor and he said he was the manager. He then said that he " will call me and will continue to do so if he pleased".

I do not answer calls I do not recognize!

Got a call from this number. Could hardly understand the gentleman.  He claimed to be doing some sort  of Microsoft update.  He wanted to take control of my computer if I pressed certain keys. The key board he described did not match what I have.  Maybe I didn't understand but I told him I did not have a PC.  After going around and around he hung up!!

Called 3 times in 2 hours. Answered the third time and the caller with a very, heavy accent told me my Windows were corrupted. I told him that my windows worked alright but need a washing and one is hard to open and may need to be replaced as my house was built in 1938 and I hung up.

Got called by this number by a man with an extremely thick Indian accent telling me that he had reports of my Windows computer downloading bad software. I told him he had the wrong number and he denied it. He tried to ask me more questions, but I told him he had the wrong number and hung up. Was immediately called back twice after that, and I didn't answer.

same thing happened to me today and I also did not answer.

Called my cell today... Told them I was with local law enforcement........they hung up :)

this is happening to me today I finally listened long enough to hear why they were calling. did they ever stop!? im about to lose my mind. I hung up on them and they have literally called 5 times in the last 10 mins.

We have now received 3 calls from 201-374-8004. The first time my husband cut them off, said we were cooking dinner, and asked to be removed from their list. They called back 30 minutes later and claimed to be from Windows. He had an accent and was difficult to understand. He said that our computer was blocking them from uploading security software to our computer. Knowing we use security software from another company, my husband asked what the name was that is assigned to the computer. He could not answer the question and then asked how many computers we have. My husband again asked to be removed from their solicitation list. They called back the next day and we let the answering machine pick it up. No message was left.

It is a scam...they will take control of your computer and charge you to get it back.  It will be then filled with spyware.

Caller said they were monitoring my computer for the last few weeks and believe it's corrupted with malicious software they said it could be fixed my allowing them remote access to my computer. He asked what my i.p. address was; I normally wouldn't say this, but I told him it was F---Off, he hung up after that.

this number is calling me everyday. I don't pick it. they leave no message

These people keep calling me every few days I told them that I have not been on computer in days  so it can't be sending error message s they keep insisting I also ask every time to be removed from their calling list does not do any good claim they are from Microsoft
