Anyone ever talk to these people?

Got call 6:27pm  with Bayonne NJ on ID on Feb 7, 2008.  When I answered the line was dead.

No msg left...

3 calls from this number this week!  I called back and it is a voicemail for some charity.  So much for being on the "do not call" list!

My answering machine message is very short. I think that autodialing computers get tricked by that. I get a lot of messages that sound like, "Hello, may I speak to Beth? Hello? Hello?" Sigh and hang up. Not as creative as a lil old italian lady, but at least it's quick, easy and no effort on my part.

Called today at 4:36, 25MAY2008, and everyday since and left no message on the answering machine.

Zapper and call screening work well. Some phone service providers provide FREE call blocking/ screening.

4 times every 15 minutes sat and sat

Someone keeps ringing that bell. WTF hello hello no one there. I ain't got time for this. Maybe I will order a pizza.

Virtually every evening between 8:30 and 8:45,  ID shows UNAVAILABLE and 201-535-3618.  Unless I recognize name or a telephone number, I don't answer the call.  Guess what, I get these calls on my cell...and they are mostly calls that ..."you've just won.........!

We continually get calls from this number and if we say hello once or twice, no one says anything. We have not hung up and put on mute and just listen. After a while, they put US on mute but don't hang up. What kind of business does this kind of sh**??

This number calls me at least twice each day.
They NEVER leave a message.
I never give money to phone solicitors. Period.

I don't usually pick these up but was annoyed that they even chose to call on Sunday. He identified himself as being from the ACLU and the call would be recorded. I said " I'm on the do not call list, it's Sunday and leave me alone." After hanging up I wish I had told him what I thought of the ACLU, that they care more about the rights of illegal immigrants than American citizens.

A Saturday afternoon [8-16-2008] call from this number.  I said "hello" and waited. There was no response for about a half a minute,  and then it/they hung up. My phone has a lot of static, which may interfere with autodialing programs.

3-4 times daily.Help! They never leave a message. Can the phone number be disconected by the Attorney General Office?

Called three times today.  No message.  Son of Italy has a great approach!

Apparently this is some Outreach Program. I was surprised that they knew our name since we have been unlisted for 3yrs and on a Do Not Call List for 5yrs. I just politely asked them not to call here again. Hopefully they will respect our privacy.
