1am in the morning call. I hate these people

2 calls so far from these guys, same rap about credit repair.  1 @ 11:15pm fri nite, the other 6:15am.sat.

calller id cliffside nj.  tried calling back the 2nd time, rang for a bit, then quit.

Called my cell at 10:45 on a Saturday night, left a voicemail about credit repair. My credit is immaculate, thanks. I filed a complaint with the FCC. I'm on the Do Not Call list. They clearly don't care.

same here, caller ID says from New Jersey. Called just after 11pm Saturday night and scared the **** outta me, no good news come that time of night.
Credit repair bs - I have no credit problems. "press 8 to be removed from our call list" - I did. We'll see if they call again.

if you are in Canada you can complain about this company on the CRTC website - I'm not on the DNClist but the call came outside acceptable telemarketing hours.

Called 7am, I didn't ans and they didn't leave a message.

Received a call from 201-917-7014 from Cliffside Park, NJ, at 3:34 a.m. Sunday, 24 Feb 2013.  Telemarketing call of some sort.  Ruined a good night's sleep.  Reported it to DoNotCall.gov and will report it to the Consumer Protection Division of the NC AG's office later today.  Wish I knew who was responsible for this middle-of-the-night call so I could return the favor.

Received call at 1:40 AM to my cell phone; I did not answer; they did not leave a message;  This is just evil.

Recorded voice, left the following at 10:30pm local time on a business voicemail:
"Let us help you regardless of your past credit. Simply press the 'one' key on your touch-tone phone. That's the 'one' key, press it now. If not interested, simply hang up or press 'two'. To be removed from our call list, press 'eight'."

Probably a phishing scam to steal your credit card number and/or your identity.

Thumbs down to EVERYONE on this site!  I have yet to find anyone who provides useful information at such a site.  I understand if you missed the call.  HOWEVER, for those that answer, here's a few tips.  Play along like you are interested, because usually if you ask who they are, they will hang up.  Once you find out who they are, you can tell them that you demand to be removed and then report them to your state's Attorney General and the FTC/FCC.  Nobody ever posts REAL information about he actual caller that can be followed up with.  If you don't do some detective work to find out who they are, your options for following up are limited, because these are often spoofed numbers.  So, instead of being a dummy and being pissed about it, attempt to do something productive and find out who the actual offending party is, instead of whining about it here with no way for anyone else to follow up who visits there.  The idea of "Who Calls Me" is to find out who is calling you!  So, it would be nice to visit here and find real information that can be followed up with.  I have reported dozens of these morons and significantly reduced the amount of junk calls I received, by finding out who they are and reporting them.  I suggest everyone else here do the same, and if you do find REAL details about the entity calling, provide that information here, which is the purpose of such a forum.

Called me on my office phone at 3:19 p.m.  When I answered, a male recording voice indicated that I could press #1 to learn how to consolidate my debts or to hang up if not interested.  I was not.

Got a call from this number on my cell at 10:30 PM tonight.  We were sleeping.

3 calls in a row at 12:36 am, after my husband pulled a 14 hour shift and had to get back up at 4:30 am. I did make a report to the FCC, and hope the rest of you do as well. JeffreyS821, no need to be such a dick. It is useful to know other people are being harassed as well.

I to have received numerous calls from this number about pay loans. First it was my loan has been accepted. Now it is that my loan is past due and if I don't pay men will come to my home or work and rape me (the guy goes into details). He has a thick Indian accent, refuses to give me his name, has given me 5 different pay day loan companies he works for, used several different phone numbers, and it is without a doubt the same guy each time. I am listing the phone numbers he has called from (via caller id) so you guys can pre block or be aware and I am also listing the loan companies names he stated he works for. Good Luck I've been dealing with this for three days now starting at 4 am.  Also since it went to the rape comment I contacted the authorities and they suggested that if I do answer the phone ask them for their DCA# (department of consumer affairs license number) this should cause them to hang up or if they are legit which I doubt will have one then you can write a complaint. This morning got a call from this phone number at 4:30 am same guy this time it was for credit repair. HUGE SCAM!!!  The detective from yesterday that I have been working with suggested that I keep a phone log and report every time they call. Annoying for sure.

they woke me up at 12:30 - im on the do not call list. Can they be stopped?

Got a call at 2:07 AM.....trying to sell services...........very unhappy

This number called our landline at 2:39 AM MST in Arizona on Saturday, 2 March 2013, waking us. We didn't answer, but it left an automated, male-voice message asking us to press a key for either interested, not interested or wish to be removed from the call list. There were a few seconds of missing message before the recording started.  No information about what was sought or offered was captured. The message terminated abruptly after a total of about 15 seconds, not even enough time to make a decision. Seems like an identity-less scam operation. A non-sensical nuisance at that hour. We will report this to regulatory people and lock it out on our incoming number filter.
