I am being harassed by these clowns - they call EVERy hour

Interesting - went to file one of the several #'s from these schmucks on donotcall.gov - which, by the way, is something everyone who recieves telemarketing calls and is on the Do Not Call list should do every time - and received this msg:

Looks like these [***] have found a loophole in the system and are exploiting it for all it's worth.  I finally got them on the phone and it was def. a call center, they guy couldn't pronounce my last name so he asked for Mr. Jones, I told him there's noone here by that name, and he launched into his pitch anyways.  I cut him off, clearly said "Please put me on your no solicitations and do not call list" and hung up.  We'll see what happens.

Found an info message that connects this number and others (918-4828, 918-5778) to Google Money Tree which is listed as an internet scam.  Phone carrier is "Level 3 Communications, LLC, NJ".  

For the time being, I am not answering ANY calls from area code 201.  This works for me as there is no one I know who SHOULD be calling me from that location.

I started getting these calls after my friends twitter account started getting spamed by a thing for online google kits.. I thought it was her tweeting about it so I clicked it and it really wasn't her.. Now tons of pop ups come up on the computer and I'm getting these phone calls.. Even if I answer they don't talk though.. I've gotten one voicemail, but it was just the lady saying "helloi".... I have no clue how to get them to stop!

Sounds like Google is the common link.  They call me every 1/2 hr on my cell phone. I have not answered the calls until recently.  Recently I have answered it but do not have the phone to my ear.  Trying to find something that will make them stop calling. i had recently looked into the google thing after seeing a article bout it on cnn.com. Anyone know if Google knows this is happening, possibly someone using Googles name to try and obtain information.

Yep, it's so-called "Google Biz Kit" or "Google Easy Profit", "Google Money Tree" kind of S.C.A.M!, just a bunch of different names but the same idea - get your credit card number and charge you for 70-100$ monthly with well-hidden (read fine print) charges... Once you've went to their website and entered your info - you're hooked, and lucky you - if you didn't go all the way with giving them your card ##... You can read more here

or just Google it with the keywords above, you'll be surprised how many people fell for it, yes, it's 2009, but people are still people... Beware and pass it to as many people as you can to stop this!!!

this number 201-918-3081 has called me over 20 times today. And it just started today. I just keep ignoring the calls hoping that they get the message.

After getting tons of calls from 210 918 3081 I looked up this page and when they called back the next time I answered and it was someone from google jobs.

I receive about 15-20 calls a day from these people. I have told them numerous times to stop calling. And I repeated that I asked before and they just keep going on with their lingo until I hang up. They then call back about 30 minutes later

20 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY, AND IT IS ONLY 3:00 PM. THEY STARTED CALLING AT 8:00 A.M.  CALLER ID SAYS NEW JERSEY. CALLED THE NUMBER BACK, GOT A RECORDING SAYING PRESS 1 FOR A REP. PRESS 2 TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALLING LIST. I PRESSED 2, BUT SINCE THAT I HAVE RECEIVED 6 MORE CALLS. I CALLED MY PHONE COMPANY, THEY SAID THAT IT COULD TAKE 24 HOURS FOR THE PRESS 2 OPTION TO WORK, AND TO FILE A COMPLANT WITH THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. I DID BOTH. IF THEY CONTINUE TO CALL THEY CAN BE FINED FOR EACH CALL AFTER OUR COMPLANT WAS MADE. HOPE THIS WORKS....THE PHONE COMPANY SAID IF THEY CONTUNUE TO CALL AFTER A FEW MORE DAYS, TO CALL HER BACK, AND SHE WILL SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE.

in the past 4 days this number has called me 17 times!!!!! i answered once and they asked for Eileen or Irene, I said there's no one here named that. they hung up but still kept calling!!! WTF!!

who calls my cell phone number from phone number # 201=918-3081?  I signed up to not get telemarketers & crank calls.

Got a call from this number a few times in the past few days! I called back and got a answering service. My cell provider tells me that it a very costly call to respond and that we shouldn't call back!
