Im not dumb, but i kinda wasnt sure after the initial convo bc this heavy indian accented man,as indicated above, also asked for my account info, i of course didnt give it to him, i told him i did not have one, so he proceeded to say that a prepaid card would b sufficient, so i was a lil unsure bc a prepaid has nothing on it so wut would b the risk?? but obviously im not as stupid as they might've thought bc im on here searching for sum answers, altho i DO feel just a tad bit stupid, bc i even believed any of it, but i guess im optimistic, bc in these days n hard times, if it was real, i couldnt pass it up, ya feel me!! but he callin me back in a few, he was waitin 4me to go purchase a prepaid, but i just wanted time to check dis sh*t out!! so i just wanna say thank you to those of u who took the time to put ur experiences on here...so THANX ALOT, idk bout any1 else, but i greatly appreciate it, i wish i could do sumthin to them n make them lose their money, bc in MY OPINION, thats wut these ppl deserve

n just to clarify im not tryin to make any threats, to anyone, i am just trying to express that these people deserve ONLY to lose the money that they are swindling and decieving ppl out of, just a kind of KARMA...just wanted to clear that up, goodness,lol dont want to have sumthing i said bein twisted up sumhow n me get in trouble for that, ya never kno with these ppl today, lol

II can not put my real name on this page because I got a scam telephone call from this number telling me that I have loose 500 from my income tax this is a bull [***]

I received a call from that number today as well. I missed the call but returned the caller back and said it was not in service.

I keep getting a call from this phone number .. thought it was a bill collector so i called the number back and it gives me the typical ...YOU HAVE REACHED A NUMBER THAT IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. dont waste time on worries of this bull shid number after reading some of these messages on here im glad they are on my do not answer list.

I just got a call, and stupid me I gave them my bank account number. I have no money in it right now, but I will be getting direct deposit on Friday!  After that dude gave me a confirmation #, he gave me the 202-558-4595 # and to ask for Sofia Lopez. She then asked me to donate $255.05 application fee for charity. I told her I did not have the money she then told me to call back when I do and she would place that grant money on hold. They made it sound real when they said not to use it on alcohol, drugs, or gambaling. So now they have my account #, I didn't send them any money, but but I am closing my account STAT!

I got a call from the "government" and the number was 970-589-4341 (colorado) saying I won $5400 and gave me a confirmation number and a diff phone number to call to confirm it (202)905-0678. I called the number and she wanted me to call back in 5 min. I did and she asked for my conf number and then put me on hold for 5 min to "pull up my file," then she said I was receiving $8400 (not 5400) and all I had to do was transfer $215 to a government charity. I told her to take that from the 8400 and she said she can't cuz that 215 goes to the charity and not to them. I said I don't have 200 and she asked when I could have that by; I said a random day and she said that I need to call her before I transfer the money to make sure everything goes smoothly......hmmmm

My caller called me7 times and called me a "stupid idiot".

The # was " out of area 5"

Told me that I was selected to receive $8500, gave me an grant confirmation number MC313, and for me to call Mr. Warren Thomas,I did and he ask me to ssend in $212 to Bank of new York in prefer for them to release the $8500,I gave them and an net spend card number that I never use.the number of Mr. Warren is 202-407-7235. So be aware of scams.
