They called me about a 9,000 grant said it was free & i didn't have to pay it back then proceeded to give me a id # and a phone number to collect the money . when i called they said they needed a 300 deposit i asked them to take it from the 9,000 & they said it couldn't be done. they didn't tell me that when the first number called me so i said it was a scam and they hung up.

Called me by my maiden name. I had to tell them 10 times  (I counted) Im not interested. They told me to "be a good girl and not sound irritated". Is a scam and they get angry when you call them out or say no.

keeps calling. no one speaks when I answer.

calls leaves no message.dont know who they are how do they get your phone numbers.

My name and number selected for a $ 9000.00 dollar grant dont have to pay it back.  just needed information from me to receive it
1 western union 2 bank account number 3 credit card numbers.  woo hoo free money.  lol Government does not select randomly to hand out money.

Received call once and another from 202-455-5758, didn't pick phone, no voice msg

Same happened to me. We can report to the FTC and stop it. Just a thought.

Called today and told about the $9000 Grant from the Federal Government. Hung up when I was not responding. LOL

Got a call from 202-100-1100. Very heavy and difficult to understand accent . He said I had a grant of $9000 to spend on meds, school, or whatever I Want . Gave me a # to call back and a confirmation # . Said he was from the Dept of Health!  I don't think the government  is going to call people to give away money. They may send a letter you owe them, but never to give you a darn thing!

Unknown caller.  After a few seconds, just a pre-recorded "goodbye."

I have been alot of these type calls lately. I block a number and magically get the same type call from another number. One number I actually answered and a woman was on the phone saying I had been randomly selected for a grant. I just said no, hung up and blocked the number.

I was told I won a ton of money and told me what I'd have to do. I'd have to give my bank account to her and I'd have to pay money to get the prize money. I told her I'd will not give my account number so send   me a  check instead  so way she replied so I hung up

i answered the call and told him i did what you asked and there blood every where  he then asked why i was being so rude told him thats who i am and you asked that i put a knife in him

Got the same call for the second time saying I was chosen to receive a $9000 grant from the federal government. This time instead of just hanging up I said I'm not sending any money to you and the woman with the strong accent hung up on me at that time. I researched and found the other two phone numbers, one from Maryland that went directly to a busy tone, and the other Washington DC that went to Google voice message. I informed them in that message that all three numbers have been turned in to the FBI and instead of trying to scam people they need to get their illegal [***] a real job! Sick of theses calls from these people who are not American and trying to scam money.

I received this same call today for $9000 of free grant money wanting me to call 206-538-2576.  SCAM SCAM SCAM

This is a scam call and police have to stop them, i have a several calls

Guy with a middle eastern accent keeps calling won't leave a message on the voicemail, but when I answer I am told that the government wants to give me a $9000 grant just as long as I didn't file bankruptcy with in the last 6 months and don't do anything illegal with the grant money. He asked me to verify some information that he had for me but after the 3rd question I hung up and have not answered since but he will not stop calling.
