I received a phone call from 2022222000 and when i asked them who was calling they hung up and called back later with 202-222-2006

SAME-SCAM-claiming to be federal government offering me a grant for $9,000

Got the same saying the same thing then as I said that it's a scam they hung up. It's been every day call it been a man but today it was women.

I received 3 calls from them. I called it back and there was no answer. They called today and when I answered all I heard was background noise. I am glad I googled this number and glad for this site's input.

This number calls at least 3 times a day tell them to stop they just hang up looking for a Jamie not me so annoying wish it would stop!!!!!!!!!!

Rachel from the US Government called to say I was to get $9000 tax free.  I asked to put her on hold.  She hung up.  This was a real person as opposed to robo call.

A woman called stating she was calling from the US Government Grants and said I had been selected to receive a free grant for $9,000 that I wouldn't have to pay back. She indicated that they just asked that I use it wisely to pay off debts or something not for gambling. She also said I could receive it on a credit card, or cash. She then gave me a money activation code and another phone number 646-389-0307 and told me to call her boss who was the senior accountant so he can release the funds. Of course, I did not call that number. Please be careful. Today alone I received another call claiming to be from the IRS and even the caller ID comes up as if it was. It turned out to be a robocall stating that I had a warrant out for my arrest and that I was being pursued for fraud. These calls can be very scary. As a result I called the IRS to find out if it was true and had to stay on hold for almost an hour before someone answered to thankfully find out that there was no problems. WATCH OUT FOR ALL THESE SCAM CALLS AND EMAILS. ALSO WATCH OUT FOR PEOPLE SELLING CARS ESPECIALLY ON CRAIGS LIST WITH SOB STORIES INDICATING THEY NEED PAYMENT RIGHT AWAY, VIA EBAY CARDS, OR SENDING FAKE EBAY INVOICES. YOU WILL NOT  BE PROTECTED UNLESS THE VEHICLE WAS ACTUALLY POSTED ON EBAY AND THAT'S WHERE YOU FOUND IT.  ALL OF THESE THINGS HAPPENED TO ME IN THE COURSE OF 1 WEEK..  BEWARE!!!!!!

9000 dollars cash waiting to be sent to me at wallmart ...all i need do is bring 200 with me for govmt form to process while i wait and as soonas they get it 9200 will come back to me . Promises to stay on the phone with me while we fill out form so i will not make a mistake gives secret code to call a second number ...his name was suppose to be Marshall Hopson ...and he says he is grants admin...thick foreign accent... oh and this free grant never has to be paid back ....not to tell anyone about this ... whodatdum
