Got a call from this number this morning and was told the Sheriff was on their way to arrest me as I had not paid the Florida State Tax for the year 2011!!  I told the AH that Florida did not have a State Tax!
The number given is the FBI # and when I called them they said this was a scam and the scammers are using a device that shows up on your caller id as a shadow number for the FBI

I got a message today from these guys been getting many calls. I picked it up and challenged the guy saying I will 3 way my police department at which point he start to swear at me in Hindi. Obviously a fraud call. I wish they can shut these guys down.

Got a call from this number claiming that I owed $22,000 in IL state tax and that they had an arrest warrant for me. Demanded that I wire 50% within 2 hours and the rest in 2 weeks. When I told them to contact my attorney they threatened to send the local sheriff and kept repeating that time is running out. I hung up and called the number back and got the real FBI and they said this is a complete scam and that the FBI doesn't arrest people, nor would they make phone calls regarding taxes, and that it would be the IRS trying to contact me if this was at all true.

COMPLETE SCAM SO DO NOT WORRY IF YOUVE RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.

I have got calls from this number several times in past week..!

He was very rude and he threaten me. Then I called the same number and real FBI people said it's a scam.

I received call from these fraudsters supposedly saying they were FBI with their fake American names, but I can tell they were Indian accent speaking dudes. They told me I didn't do something related immigration correctly some years ago and now they have file on their desk. Either i can pay to take care of the problem or i will be arrested and fight in court but if I lose i will have to pay $50,000 penalty and I will lose my citizenship....Too many red flags.  When I didn't budge, they got more rude and said FBI is on their way to arrest me. LOL. These guys are "spoofing" the caller id by using real  FBI number and name, but THEY ARE FRAUD!!!!! DO NOT PAY THEM A SINGLE PENNY. Government (FBI, IRS, etc.) doesn't come and arrest you at the drop of a hat! And No, they can NOT take your citizenship like that!!              DON'T PAY THESE A**HOLES

He said I m calling from us dept of citizenship and I have a charges on you, I said what charges and he hang up

That's what happened to me this morning. They said I owed taxes in the amount of $5484 and that if I didn't pay the sheriff department was going to pick me up in 45 minutes. I freaked out. I told them that I had not received anything by mail from the IRS. They scared me even more and were persistent that I pay something in order to lift the warrant and told me that I could call the IRS tomorrow with a receipt number and make  payment arrangements. Yes, thank God I only paid $200 from a  prepaid card. I always see these scams and tell myself, " How could people fall for this?", well, I got scammed. I still freaked out.
