Do not trust these people it is getting sad when you have to check every number that contacts u and look it up to see if it is a scam or not. but yes i was told that i had recieved a grant and to recieve it i had to western union some third world country the amount of 120.00 and then i would recieve 7000.00. These people need to be stopped.

Ben Teller,supervisor at a government grant office in Washington DC claim that they were from US government and I had been awarded a tax free grant of 7,000.00 and it wouldn't have to be pay back. In order for me to receive the money, I would have to send to him in the sum of 120.00 to go toward helping a third world country. Then they would wire the money to my checking account, after I confirm that I have sent the 120.00 by western union or money gram and they would send the grant money,in 45 minutes are less.

i just this call as well first it was from his colleage bryan welles telling me that i got a 7,000 grants loan went to it deeper then told me to call his loan officer for confirmation. The so calles loan officer name is ben tyler talked wit sound like the same guys to me but just different number...

Me and my husband done the same [***]....we sent them 120 AND 389!!!!! we was suppose to get the money this morning but we can see that we arent really going to get it now :( Wish the FBI would put a stop to this! We are pissed......wonder if it would do any good to sue them??

Not only do I want to report 2023910961, but also the number that appeared on my caller ID which was 3184333442.   I supposedly was receiving a grant for $7000 and since I never called back, I didn't get scammed.

Got a call from this # and they all speak with an Indian Accent but they say they are form the US Goverment and that I was approved for a grant, they ask me for a checking acct or plastic where they can deposit my grant money but I did not give them any info and told them that this was a scam

yeah thats the guy who just called me today, he said that i won a u.s grant for 8,500.00. And I'm sorry at first I believed him because I filled out a lot of scholarships and i needed money real bad for a home. but then i called back the number to give him information and it went straight to him.....that was a little fishy to me i quickly hung up and i searched him. lol

I'm a college student, they called me, very convincing that they were some Federal agency and I was going to receive a government grant.  They asked for my debit card number.  I'm not sure what it's about but is seems fishy.

Some Indian or Middle Eastern Guy called telling me a won free money from the government. If I wanted the money a guy named Chris Walter at 202-391-0961 would b contacting me to release funds to my account in 45 min. I said if I had the money I wouldnt have listened to you lie for 10min. So I just hung up ignoring the call backs!

i got a call from chris rogers saying ive recieved fed grant money and all i need to do transfer 205 bucks and a bank in new york will deposit my money in 1 hr. this person is soo foriegn and his name is chris rogers... this is a scam . then a dude named mark calls from us bank of NY and asks for more money....this needs to stop! the goverment cant do nothing about this
