No this is not google...this is a phishing number that when called will have access to and begin using your number.

It's google.  I got a call from this number and then got a text from my boyfriend asking for the code they left in the voicemail.  I think it's to help if you get locked out of your account.

Some type of automated spam.

Got a text from this number --> (520) 276-9362 in response to a job posting I saw and applied for via craigslist. Then after the said person asked if they could call and give me more details about the job, I said sure. Well they "called" and it was this number (202) 455-8888. First off that's an instant red flag. Then when it just so happened to be a google voice verification, I instantly hung up and blocked BOTH numbers. I don't use my google account for literally anything and I don't link my cell number to anything either.. It's an awfully shady world out there y'all.. Stay safe! Pretty dang certain this was a potential scam.

I received a missed call from +12024558888 number on 8:19am Local (Kabul, Afghanistan) time. When I called back, the computer speak and cut it. Please, I want to know who called me and for what. I lost my iPhone last month, maybe, is it link with that or not?. Thanks

This number user tried to hack my email  just after the call Google warned me about the attempt and gave me details about the hackers
