A Unknown Call From This Number.

I am from the Philippines, and i missed a call from this number +1 202-455-8888. I find it so weird, so I asked my boyfriend who is US right now. He told me he was working at the time of the call. I googled it and I find these. What am I gonna do with this? Do I need to report or what? What should I do?

It is 100% safe to Ignore the calls/texts. This number seems to be used by a variety of crooks in India/Pakistan.  Block the number so they don't bother you.

Reporting to authorities is fine, but since the calls are from outside the US, enforcement is a problem.

I hadn't been nowhere near a pc or phone for hours because I was asleep and those morons woke me up. Obv didn't take this shady call. I haven't done anything that could have triggered this call. Someone else must be trying to get my information. Fkngmorons

i just got a call from that number too but before the call i recived a text message inside was a code for some site like waze 1st time hear about that and after that they called me but i didnt answear

Got a text from Google about a verification code ten minutes before the call came through, didn't pick up as I live in the UK and it was a Washington D.C number, guessing it is a scam though as I did not request a verification code from Google.

Advise: Do not answer this number and if you do, do not give them any information.

I know it, actually they are trying to hacking your email. Because in different websites we send our emails, so they get your emails and then trying to hack it. And you know my email account is very secure, first I have come messages from someone to my email then I have come a called from this number but I rejected.. so now please don't attend these type of calls ...

This number has called in the middle of the night, my ringer is off. Both times he has tried to get into my Facebook account and change my password. This time he also tried to access it from my Instagran account and change that password. Surprise! I don't have one!

I just recieved a call from this number at 5:55 Pm september 27, 2019. But i didn't have a chance to answer it. Because i was driving a motor cycle.
