Just called my cell phone with a survey - "Are you registered voter" - answer=yes then "Are you pro-life" - answer='no' and then it disconnected saying it was sponsored by "Survey 2009".  One of the above comments is probably true - is a right wing conservative fishing expedition.

They called me 13:38 yesterday no name with number - didn't answer.

Better stop calling me or I will hunt them down

just got a call from this number. i didn't answer it and no voice mail was left.

Seems to be a politcal survey; aimed specifically at right-leaning people, as the 2nd question was rather leading (instead of asking if I was pro-life or pro-choice, it asked if I was pro-life); to which I replied No- and was hung up on.

I just got the political recording on my DNC-registered cell phone.

Unfortunately, the new ban on robo-calling apparently exempts charities, politicians, and survey-takers. Figures.

Called my cell phone which showed up as missed call.  I do not give out my cell phone number to anyone.  I only use it for emergency purposes.  I don't know who these people are or how they got hold of my cell phone number.

I received several calls this week on my cell phone (while I was driving) and my husband's. I do not give out my cell phone number so I am concerned that they got the number through illegal means.

I live in Fairfax, Virginia.

Called at 7pm today.  I didn't answer-they left a message: "This is a political survey call, we may call back."

As with others they just called my cell phone with a survey - "Are you registered voter" - answer=yes then "Are you pro-life" - answer='no' and then it disconnected saying it was sponsored by "Survey 2009".  They had already called me several times but this time I answered the call.  Hopefully that is the end of it.  I reported the number to the National Do Not Call Registry.

received two calls from this number but was not at home.  glad to see all the comments as to what this call is about...Yes-registered voter...YES PRO-LIFE..

This is a number out of Washington D.C this is a pollster number that they are wanting to know number(s) on Type of House heating that is being used in order to decide bill(s) for future decisions.  It is likely that someone has either complained about something to a congressman or supported a congressman or senator on an issue; which-is-good.  However; you can update your do -not call status but they reserve the right to do this.   YOU can simply PUT NOT leave a number when you contact them!   This is possible/and probably the best coarse of action if you are paranoid about calls that do not have a caller ID.

Hey, guys. ANY call from a telemarketing organization including political surveys are illegal. File a claim with the FCC. You can go to this website to fill out a form online: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Unfortunately, you can't stop them from calling your home phone.

Sorry for the above comment. It's illegal to call your CELL PHONE. It doesn't matter if it's for fundraising for charities or a political call. You make a complaint against them with the FCC if it's a CELL PHONE.

If it's for your home phone, then they can still call you. There's nothing you can do about it.
