I received a call yesterday from these morons and because I know there's no way in hell the Government would give away free money, I played along with these fools. Long story short I told the guy that I wanted cash and he told me to call this number 202-580-8451 and ask for Joann. Needless to say I called Joann and no one answered. So today, the same person called me and I told them to take me off their calling list and he hung up the phone.

With no spam? its for real and you get the money without having to pay it back later?

I got a call today from 619-619-1010 saying that I got a grant of $7000 , from US Govt. for paying taxes, having good record. It was a lady. She gave me money approval no. and asked me to call
202-559-7659 number, and ask for Steve Miller, who is her account manager, and tell him that I am approved for grant and give that money approval no. to him and then he will tell me what to do.
I called that no. he verified my money approval no. and my address. He said I have to pay $190 first, then I will get $7000 plus$190 back.I have to pay it in western Union bank  then on the same day itself I will get all my money back. I asked how to pay and he told me to call him back when I am ready to go to the bank , and then he will give me the details. Then I went through internet and found out that it's a scam. Don't be fooled by these calls.

I have  got two phone calls asking me about my personal info (data birth and account number etc...)
First was from 202 407 7229  giving me a some government grant 8000 $, and asking me to call their manager Gary Taylor for approval at 202 001 5000.
I wish there will be some law to get ready of these people ,because police not protecting citizens before these scams.

I too recieved a phone call about 2 months ago. Telling me that I was eligable for a grant of $7000.00, he verified my billing info, and said there was a one time fee for processing and the money would be direct deposited into my account. He then transfered me to another man who went over the details of the money transfer who then said there was a fee it was something like $200 and I told him to never mind and to please remove me from their calling list and I ended the call.
   Then this evening the same man called and again said he worked for the fed gov and I am eligiable for $7000.00 in fed grant money. I explained to him I am not interrested, the fees are too high, remove me from your calling list, he tells me he doesn't have the authority to do that. so I asked for a supervisor...he says there are none here, I dont have one...this continues for about 3 or 4 minutes until I hung up.  Then to make matters worse he calls me back, I hung up on him and he called me back yet again. But this time he threatens me and my children, says his supervisor will come to my house and do unspeakable things to me and then I will have the money for the fees and I would then get my grant money. He continued in this manner and I told him this because he kept calling it is harrassment and I would press charges, he kept threatening me and said he would continue to do so. So I hung up on him.....My cell phone company recommended to file a police report, send them that documentation then they could investigate.  It has to be a scam!!!

I received today 05/22/2012 a call stating that because I had no criminal record and because I file my taxes in time the years I am going to receive a government grand to the tune of 7000 US dollars. That sounded to be too good to be true. When my voice became hesitant the man hung-up. What the hell could this man be up to?

these are fraudulent calls, 354- wants me to give my card info, I told him to send documents in the mail.
even  though he gave me a name, Peter Youn, dudhh, I know the government, always require paperwork and documentation.
on everything.

I got a call tonight from a restricted number the man had a thick acceint and i could bearly understand him . he said i was chosen to receive a $7.000 grant. I said i wasnt sure  about that, i dont like to give my personal info over the phone. he said i would have it in 45 minutes in my account i repeated that i didnt understand why, he said let me put on my supervisor niether man gave me a name but just kept trying to get my account # so i said listen i was taught if something sounds to good to be true it ussually is, and if they were trying to scam me it wouldnt do any good because i only have 20 bucks in my account , he quickly said oh i see your not interested and hung up in my face.. Lord i hope you find these people , its just awful what they are trying to do

i got a call from a unknown number a few minutes ago they said the exact same thing , and told me i needed to make a 250$ deposit at the western union. good thing i google everything i knew it was bogus because i'm 18 never worked a day in my life so how would i pay taxes ? also I don't have a credit card so there's no way they know my credit score lol i actually went along with it for a while with my best friend thanking and blessing them and when i got tired of messing with their heads i cursed them out and hung up this was simple hilarious to me don't they know Americans aren't so Naive ?

The name the man gave me was Henry Smith - ( they couldnt even be smart enough to switch up last names)

The phone number they gave me to call back was- 202-621-0436

I suppose to get a grant for 8400 is this true...

have been receiving lots of unavailable calls saying they are calling from washington dc because i can get free grant money that I never have to repay. I tol them to stop calling and they hang up.Tonight htey called and started arguing with me. Fought with the man until he finally put on someone that was supposed to be a boss. Called himself the floor boss and tried to say there was no other boss above him. He began yelling at me and laughing and saying that I must be well loved to have somany people calling me. I told them to take me off their calling list and he said that it would cost $150 to close my file and stop getting calls. He then proceeded to ask where I was so I told him I was trying to make dinner and he then asks if I was in my bed. We hung up and had to change our number to hopefully stop the calls.

Man they almost got me talking bout 7 000 will b to me with in 3 hours that's the max I'm like wow they like when u Finna send the money call them back yeah rt

i got acall from 202-738-1256 and they offered 7000 and told me to go to western union and do the say thing and for me to wait and call with them on the phone but they say my reason was cause of my bankruptcy...smdh FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

I just received a call say i get a 7000$ for having a clean criminal record they said ur gunna have to right this info down I said is this real and he hung up so I looked it up haha dump [***]

Never give your account number or send money huge red alert why u pay for something that u won or its told to be free. My phone hung up on them thank god(202)666 7272 was the number

I received same call as others...7,000 free grant for paying bills on time and no criminal record. Told me to call 2027381398 talk only to Nancy Cooper. Reporting to fraud dept.

This people continue trying to do this "Fraud"
With the same calls , same number, same deals... theyre want make you believe that you win 7,000$ then theyre want that you go to western union and make a deposit for 195.00$ then theyre supose will refund to you....
DONT BELIEVE THAT SH***T THEYRE ARE A INDIAN OR WHATEVER PEOPLE TRYING MAKE A FRAUD!!!!!

Got a call from a 202 number.  When you call it back, it's disconnected.  But they tried again.  This time I picked up. Same deal.  Only my grant was 9500.  He gave me a reference number and another number to call.  It was 315-636-4531.  I called it.  I asked the lady to repeat slowly who they were.  Then I asked for her name.  She asked for a reference number.  I said, "I asked for your name".  She put me on hold and then hung up.  Unbelievably funny...

did you go to western untion to collect the $7000 grant money after you
paid $200-300 first and then told it would be reimbursed?

Got a call about a $7000 the government was giving away didn't get the number because it came up unknow. But it was the same woman with that accent. I was trying to record the voice but she hang up before I could.
