I just got a call from a supposed IRS agent named Julie Smith... to call back at this number... garbled number.. then was repreated.. 202 506 8392. Said I needed to call back immediately to take care of this urgent matter.  We do not owe the IRS a dime... So I know it's a scam.   I had a call about a month ago.. and it was a blocked number... but I am pretty sure it is the same outfit.  

It's a scam. I called them back after they told me I was going to be arrested for tax fraud to let them know I knew they were a scam and that I reported them to the government. The guy pleaded with me not to and said he wouldn't do it again. He basically admitted this was a scam

I received the same automated message twice this morning. Clearly it is a scam, because if the IRS really wanted to contact me, they would not do so via a generic automated call.

This person called saying she was an officer of the IRS as to call or action will be taken. Everything I've seen says this is a scam, i will not be returning this call.

Got a recorded message from this number saying it was Julie Smith from the IRS and needed me or my attorney to call back before they took action.  What is ironic is that at the end of the message, she says "Take Care".  Also, I know from listening to the news that this is a scam as the IRS will contact you by postal mail.
