Me too, I received a call from a certain Jordan Wood with an Indian accent and claiming to be from IRS. However,
the one Jordan Wood that I know is a wanted man from India. Im waiting for his return call so that I can patch up
to my friend from INTERPOL to verify his identity.

A guy calling himself IRS agent Paul Brown with a serious Indian accent called and left a message informing me that legal efforts would be made to arrest me if I ignored his call.... I called my accountant and she said the IRS does not play like that! [***]! Wasting my time and my busy accountants!

Just got a call from 202-506-9166, saying my income tax was miscalculated and wanted me to call this same number to talk to Demon Marshall.  I asked him what year of tax? He said 2013. (I haven't filed 2013) I asked him what is my ss#. He couldn't answer.  Scam.  

This is a major scam!!! Not IRS!!! LIARS!!!

I got a  called who claim { Doamnon Marshall }  from IRS  saying my income tax it not macth. The # was 1-202-506-9166.  when I returned the call, they asked me for all the private informations, but I did not give to them because it is a scam.

So for all of you, People, do not respond to this call or give out any information to any body.

Got this exact same message from Paul Brown. Amazing what people do to deceive others.

I received multiple calls this morning from this number. I even got a message left at one point. Something about needing to call back because the IRS and a lawyer needed to talk to me. I though it was a wrong number because they left the message for Ashley, not Anna - they called me at my place of work.

My call, same #, March 28 ~ 0900  Eastern, was from "Jason Stewart, IRS", same thick Indian/Pakistani accent which made it difficult to understand. He had the audacity to leave a message on my VM, which I interrupted w/ a piece of my mind. I would advise it's probably VERY dangerous to make a call back to their tel. #. I've seen news reports that they can then "seize" your
# and use the connection to charge all sorts of their toll calls, and maybe worse.

Same thing on my cell phone from number 202-506-9166 1103am from Washington DC is what it says on display then a man with thick indian accent leaves message to call him now, right now that he is with IRS and has to talk to me right now he could not even pronounce half the words it was like he was computerized or something, could not even understand half the words he was saying---Scamming Scum!!

This number just called us also. Heavy, heavy accent & couldn't say our last name right. Claimed to be IRS with charges against us. We have some IRS numbers we call when we have questions or business to work out with them and it isn't a number like this one! Totally a scam!

Received a call from someone with an indian accent 4/1/2014.  Claimed that I had a deficiency with my income tax and that I should call Daman Marshall at 202 506-9166.  I was suspect from the start but I made the call only to speak to someone who wanted to verify my home and cell phone numbers, amongst other things.  I said no, he hung up.

Some one with a deep accent called me over 40 times (counted on my call log) this morning saying they were from the IRS trying to get information from me, threating me with arrest and other unpleasant things.  I told them they were a scam but a number of different people with the same deep accents continued to call me back.  Most of the calls went unanswered.  Finally, when they asked for me again...I said..I am so sorry she has passed away.  The voice on the other end got very emotional saying "Oh my God"  more than several times and telling me "She was my friend"  I asked if he knew her from church?"  He wanted to know who I was and I told him I was her daughter and suppled him with a fake name when he asked.  The call then ended very quickly and I have not received additional calls.  Next time I will ask for a donation to the American Cancer Society or the SPCA in my memory.

I too just got a call from this number leaving a message on my home phone. Saying he was Tom Black from investigation department of the IRS. I am to return his call immediately about my taxes. He indicated that it was extremely urgent that I call him back before any litigation takes place. he also said he didn't care take information about my excuses. He could barely speak English.

"This message is intended for Christopher. Christopher the very second you receive this message I need you on the top up on me [...] all-you(?) do return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sense my name is Max Paco and I'm calling you from our office in time-other(?) than the service department and hotline to my division is 2025069166. I repeat it's 2025069166. Don't try to disregard this message and do return the call before any you got any ... and(?) fixed it-you-have(?) picked up mind-that(?) Daddy said that he-simply(?) and you know income text. Goodbye and take care."

HI, The exact same thing just happened to me. I looked up the number and found this.
Thank you all for posting.  Yes this guy had such a heavy accent I couldn't even understand half of what he said. HUGE SCAM!!!
