- JackieJust got this call from 202-517-7381. Didn't answer because I screen calls & didn't recognize number. Voicemail stated he was from Legal dept of Internal revenue. First, I could barely understand a word he said! Was told I NEEDED to call back today with my attorney present. I really wish these scammers would be caught & punished!!! So annoying! I'm 71 yrs old & at first thought maybe I had done something wrong because area code is 202 which is Washington D.C. So happy for this site because after looking up the number knew for sure it's a scam.
