the caller hangs up when I answer the phone

call came in and rang 4 times , my ans. machine picked up but they didn't leave a message. I am on the do-not-call list but I guess they don't care.

Received a call from this number today. Call them back using your cell phone(no long distance charges) you can state your number and be put on their do-not-call list. But you have to press the pound butten for it to go through!!

same behavior.  They've been calling here for many months, sometimes daily.

same thing - this idiot calls a few times a week and hangs up when we answer!!

Calls three or four times a day, usually in the morning- first time I answered there was just dead air, the second time I heard a click as though someone hung up, and the third time they asked for me, and when I said I wasn't home (lol) they hung up.
I give yearly to a wildlife fund, and I unable to give this year.  I hope this has nothing to do with that!!

Unsolicited call received today on my home number (on do not call list). T let the answering machine pick it up but they left no message.

Calls at least once daily. Washington DC. No message left. Probably political.

Getting the same calls several days a week. no message, no one on the other end if I do pick up and try to tear them a new a$$hole...

If you call them back and listen to the message it will ask if you wish to be taken off the automated dial up. Their number is in Washington DC.  I used my cell phone so there was no long distance charge ...Good luck

Has been calling 2-3 times a day for several days. I programmed the number into my telephone with "no ringer" so I don't hear the calls.

Got a call around 2:30 p.m. today, no message left
