I got a phone call this morning from sulphur 202-609-7042.
The guys name was kalvin smith employee id # 760596ck, he said i was eligble for 8,400phone clean and clear no taxes that i had to pay a one time prossising fee of 206.00 for a donation.
His adress is 200it independent ave.

Said to good to be true! Lily Miller called me stated that I was approved for a grant from the government for $7800 but I had to go to western union to send $225.00 and i would get it back. After asking her some question i ask her for the address and website. It all match up to what everybody else on this site is saying this is some really [***]! Don't send them one red cent its a SCAM.

This soo helpful guys and gals, I was just about to send 320$ to them and thats alot for ne cause im a college kid and thats alot of money to me Im.only getting paid like 130$ a week but anyway they call same number and all but I got a Harrie Anderson lol rite about 7000$ grant money and I was looking around on the web and cam arcoss this and this just shows me there are bad people in this world, but after seeing this it also shows there still some good people out here in this crazy world that we live in, and about this scam well I got to say is "That [***] cray"

Said I was approved for $1600 loan, with monthly payments of $225. But had to go to Western Union
....call her when I get there so she can walk me through the process. I needed to send $225 to register then they will send me the $1600 plus my cash back.

we was called on yesterday and by marc and charlie harris to send 199.00 by western union. Now I came on here to search and im seeing all of these things. They were really going to take my mothers hard working money they need jesus cause if they had took our money. I was gonna make sure their life were hell.. but they need to be caught before somebody walk them to jesus.

They called  the other day with the same B.S..... Supposably I was supposed to be receiving anywhere from 7000 dollars to 8000 dollars I literally think these people are trying to scam us..

someone called me n said i was granted 2000 dollars and it was a sceme

i actually was stupid and sent them $200. i am a single mom of four children and really need extra cash. i never recieved the $1700.00 that they promised. What do i do about  this? Who do i call to have these people dealt with? please i need help... anyone that knows who i can call to deal with this please commen back. Thanks

I was told to do the same thing!! I did send the $200 cause have been trying to getaway government grant for my husband to fully start his own business. So we thought it was about that. But when we sent the money we never received the money back. And they have been still calling me!!! Asking how much money they were going to give me and then they said we had to pay $50 before we could receive the $5000.... so my husband got on the phone and yelled at him......and he went by the name "john Wilson"

Just got the call myself and spoke with "Alan" who had a strong Indian accent. The number appeared as "unknown" and he gave me the contact number 202-580-8490 and address

Address appears to be valid, a search of the phone number brought up this site. I don't know how they got my number, but this is clearly a scam. They offered $6000 in exchange for $199 refundable deposit. I let them know exactly what i think. Who do I report it to?

No lie jus got the call it was a girl named "jasmine cooper" she told me to deposit $200 and I would get $7000 I told her SMD and banged it on her [***] [***] thatt

Yes I got the same call I gave them a wrong reference # and they told me to call them back to receive my funds so playing the waiting game to see if they send this money

I was literally inches away from sending these scam artists $225.00. I was lucky enough to be at a Western Union where the lady at the time had been working there for 4 years and when I handed her the slip and she saw I was on my phone ... she stopped me and said " do you know the person you are on the phone with " ?
I said no and the first thing she said is that I am being scammed !!!! This lady deserves a raise !!!!

I had my doubts the whole time but I wasn't sure why someone would scam someone for $225.00. The whole ride to the Western Union, I was telling my girl that I'm either gonna get scammed for $225 or I'm gonna recieve the $3000.00. What initially made me suspicious is when the guy " Robert Williams " said that because of my credit score, they will not be able to deposit the money in my account, it has to be Western Union. Common sense told me that any financial institution would feel more comfortable putting the money in your account rather then sending it Western Union.

This guy was so convincing that I still can't believe it. If it wasn't for the teller at the Western Union he would have stolen $225.00 from me. The crazy part is that when I told him I wasn't doing what he asked, he said the teller at the Western Union dosn't know what she is talking about. After he realized I wasn't going to proceed with the "loan" he said it is ok, he has plenty of customers from America !?!? Almost subconsciously saying that he is not even in America as I'm speaking to him.

ooo really? i got the same phone call! a "SAM WALTER" from the grants dept! i paid $270 +$10 & never got the $7,000 transfered to my account. these people have all of my info & i made a report on both of the 2 people. the bank manager name is "ERIC NEWMANN" they use western union to get the money ship to india "NACHIMA BEGAM" so if you would like to contact the n.y.s general attorney office feel free to make a complaint about 200 independance ave SW, 20201 the # is 212-961-4475

They told me that I was going to get 7500 if I give them 288. It's a total scam, but that money would have been nice.

There is a John D who called me from that # said that I was qualified for $6000. And said that to pay him an amount of $452 so I could receive the money and he kept on asking one amount after another. Please take these people off the street. Cause they are going too far with it, and I believe that there is a store the name is Food Point in the corner of 6 Avenue in Lake Worth across PBSC (Palm Bch State College) helping them with their scams.

They called me and told me that i wil recieve 10,000 of government money and i will not have to pay it back and all i have to do is get a western union of nonrefundable deposit of 150.00 dollars for a non profit organization.

Just got a call from 202-506-9282 said I was granted a 10,000 grant if I would  Western union 199 to a person in India by the name of Sati Thomas as a donation. Then they would send me my money if I would give them the reciept of the money I would have sent. That receipt would of had all my info on it.

Ummm another scam caught in action .They offered me $7000.00 refused to call the out of state number given 202-621-0436  spoke to "CECILIA" come on now stop scamming poor unsuspecting citizens any one who gets these phone calls please post immediaetely.
