received 'the' call about my tzx problem...did not return call. how can we stop this?

Says there are the IRS crime division  investigators looking into my tax fraud and I will be arrested if I do not give them info

got this call too. Did not call it back. Because of the message they left, I knew it is obviusly a scam.

Got a voice mail on  May 29... asking to call this number... then they hung up 3x in a row

I love messin with these guys. I call back with fake name, fake banking info, & fake accent, makin it hard for them to understand my "no ang-glaze." I figure the more of their time I waste, less time for them to call someone else. (Plus, it's entertaining.)

I received 2 calls from this number. Both times it was a computerized message that said there was problems with my tax filing. I did not call back since it's been on the news about these scams and I also know this is NOT how the IRS contacts you as I have been audited in the past.

I received a recorded message phone call today stating that there is suspected fraud on my tax return to call this number, when i called back I asked to speak to a supervisor he said he was the supervisor and hung up.

877-795-9819 automated call to collect 20+ yr debt.

Said I had tax problem ,but I've had my refund since March , so I say SCAM!

total scam, trying to scare people. it startled me cuz my taxes were tricky this year,

Just minutes ago, my Mother received a call from this number informing her of her tax fraud and that she needed to return the call to provide more information.  Not her tax accountant!
