I also received harassing calls from the BCR, but finally got to talk to a person. It seems they were looking for a gal by the name of Donna Jackson. I do not know her and told them so. I informed this person if they continue to call my cell # I would report them to the U.S. Federal Trades Commission and their # is 1-877-382-4357..so good luck to all....Other #'s from the BCR are; 202-607-2731,2732,2733, 800-831-7311, 918-379-4562, 888-276-8572, also Private Call

I got at least 4 calls a day form these people. They lied and told me they were a lwayers office not a collection agency. They represent T-mobile, who wants me to pay $400 for cancelling my month to month prepay service with them. I had a contract with T mobile that ended and I became a month to month prepay customer when my contract was up because I refused to sign another contract with them. I switchd to Verizon. Now TMobile seems ot think I owe them for cancelling a contract that we never had? And they waited 11 months to contact me about it.

The woman got an attitude when I refused to pay for it and then hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. I called back and got a manager and I asked him to please send me the copy of hte signed contract with T Mobile that I am in breech of. He refused to send me anything and hung up on me. On average I receive 14 calls a day from this number 7 days a week, and I refuse to answer. When I do answer I ask for a copy of the contract and I ask them to please take me to court for breech of said contract and they get an attitude and hang up on me.

They have been harrasing my 10 year old son. I talked to them 3 times on 4/19 each time they said they will remove the phone # and within an hour I have another call asking if I knew the person who had the phone before me. I have told them many times I do not know the person they are looking for but that makes no difference to them. They are the worst kind of collection agency and  do not care that they are in violation of many collection laws.

Have received several calls from this number, 2026072733.  I finally answered and nothing on the other line.

AAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!  They call me at 6:30 in the morning!!!  Can't we find out where this number lives, kill its family and slash its car tires?????!!!!!!!

i have been getting these phonecalls from "BCR" for 7 VERY LONG months! They would call up to ten times a day, never leave a message, and would call EVERY day no matter holiday or weekened, the calls would begin in the early EARLY morning and end around nine at night.  They call from literally ten different numbers, some from oregon, some from california, and even washington d.c., virginia, you name it i've gotten all sorts of numbers!  I would answer my phone to tell them that my cellphone did not belong to this man they were trying to reach, BUT that was if i got lucky. USUALLY i got hung up on, and if i called back they would answer and as soon as i began talking once again, hung up on.  Finally, i just gave up, i ignored their calls and they FINALLY quit calling and its probably been about two months then this morning I woke up and low and behold THEY CALLED!! So i call them back and what do you know? The first guy hangs up on me. THEN i call back and i get some woman who i begin talking to and in midsentence she sends to some thing that ringing and i talk to someone that seemed to be more professional and i asked what it was regarding why they were calling me and what "BCR" stood for and she said and I QUOTE "it doesnt stand for anything its just BCR we're a business opportunities company"  i laughed are you fxxxing kidding me?!? it is a collections company for cellphone companies.  and they are an extremely low budget one at that.  and they illegally STALK you even if u arent the right person they are looking for so just ignore them they'll quit eventually.

they have been calling 2-3 times a day and want to talk to my husband. when i tell them he is not here then they want to talk to me. i ask them what is this about and i dont get answer. on top of that one person calls and then another person gets on the phone. so of whom speak very bad english

Calls everyday ...Caller ID says BCR...looks like they are a debt collection agency! never leaves a voicemail.

I receive calls from this number at least weekly.  It is always someone with a strong accent (maybe Asian??) and I tell them they have a wrong number.  I quit trying to explain so I just send it to voicemail when they call.  They never leave a message.  When I called the number back, I also get a message stating this is BCR and please hold...which I don't.

Caller ID is Unknown Name. Its in Washington DC.  Bureau of Collection Recovery Inc., 7575 Corporate Way, Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344 These are pond scum debt collectors for AT&T.  They will not clear your debt or even care if they are seeking the former owner of the phone number.  In my case they wanted me (not a negro) to pay for the funeral of a negro minister  (250-07-4832) who died in 2000 per social security death list. Seems that his negro felon son (229-96-7687)  (who died in 2003 per social security death list) was too cheap to pay for his Dad's funeral.  I suggested that they go dig the ole boy up, dump his ass out on the ground and repossess the casket to settle the debt since he is not my kin. Actual debt holder probably is his wife or other felon son who has a social security number that ends in 0081 and still resides at 3138 Truxton Road, Augusta Georgia 30906.

How do I stop this number asking for a person that do not live at this number, I am tired of telling them that they have a wrong number.

2012Aug15 09:27  Caller ID name display shows NAME NOT FOUND.  I never answer calls that don't display both name and number.  They leave no voice mail message.  Others on this site have identified this company as BCR collections.  Don't know why they're calling me.  They seem to be an abusive collection agency using telephone trickery to try and catch people unaware.  They ignore the FTC Do Not Call List even when you're registered there.

They have stared calling here from number 202 607 2756 and 202 607 2806.  I never answer the call, 'cause if I don't know the number or name I don't answer it.  I've read all the other comments, so I'm gonna get a whistle like the basketball refs use and when they call, pick the phone up and blow as hard as I can and I hope their ear gets blown off or the recording machine blows up.  That is what a policeman told me to do with a guy that was making harrassing calls and it stopped the calls.  They never leave a message.  Since I don't answer the phone, I don't know if it is a machine or person, but if they are a collection agency, they have NO reason to call me.  The calls just started about a month ago.  Crooks of all kinds out there. IGNORE THEM AND EVENTUALLY THEY WILL QUIT  (I think).  Good luck everyone.  Go buy a whistle!  If everyone that they call answers with the whistle, they will quit calling, as they know they aren't going to get anywhere.  You can't argue with them and once they talk to you, they think you have something to hide and will keep it up.  Don't talk....BLOW the whistle.!!
