Received a call from this number on my cell - strange accent - asking for myself. I asked who would like to talk to him? and the person would continue asking for me by the name. I hung up, and blocked the number.

I didn't respond to the call

My speculation: this is a call to verify the number and name associated  with the number - It's for a background check- have you applied for a job recently?

A young lady just called me and she did have my name right, but not the correct company I work with... I told her I work for a different company, so she apologized and hung up...

Just got a call they asked for my first name and an incorrect last name, then they said wrong number and hung up. Don't know what they are looking for.

Just called my office - got hold music when i picked up

Just got a call man sounded like indian,pakistan whatever but he said is xyz he had the first name right but not the last name said he tried to reach clearview company then said sorry i called the wrong number. I have a feeling there is more to this call.

Received first call from 2026212089, asked for name and once I provided asked for a person with same first name and different last name.
Received another call from 4242496679. This is definitely a identity theft scam. Beware and don't entertain. I hope this stops and no harm comes my way.
