Called cell, voice mail picked up, but no message left

no message; unable to call back and leave a message to do not call either

Getting these scam calls to - and to my cell phone -- telemarketers are not supposed to call cell phones - reported it to the Do Not Call website -- suggest all do this to stop these calls

Phone rang, I answered. No one on the other end.

This number called, wasn't going to answer but phone kept ringing for minutes, so I answer no one on the line..... so I tried hanging up but It wouldn't let me end call. I had to take the battery out of my phone for it to stop.

I've been getting calls from a few scammers almost daily, including this one, and decided to see how they appear on my cell phone bill.  The funny thing is that most hang up calls show up on my ATT wireless statement but these scam calls don't.  (Note that I don't answer unless I recognize the number)  Could it be that these calls are being authorized by ATT?  Why else would the calls not show up?  Do most people getting these calls have ATT Wireless?

And people wonder why I don't have my voicemail set up... :/ I am not going to answer, and not going to call back- as a previous poster pointed out that once you call back they know they have a live person, probably sell your info to others, and on goes the never ending calls from others. :s And, did you know that the "Do Not Call" does NOT apply to survey's because, tecnically, they "aren't  soliciting"? What a joke! Just another system set up to "protect the people" that equals no less than an Epic Fail! :(

Hmmmm.....interesting. I, too, also have AT&T Wireless! Anyone else out there?? Anyone try calling AT&T about it? Could it be someone hacked the info (our cell #s)? I'd hate to think AT&T would intentionally stab their own customers in the back... :/

Call came in at 7:41 PM.  Did not answer.  No message left.  I am on Do Not Call List too.

Got a call on my cell, said they were with Obama research survey on healthcare.  I'm on do not call list obviously Obama is above the law.

The do-not-call list excludes you from telemarketing calls - not surveys.

Called at 6:05pm. didn't answer. Didn't leave a message.

Just received a call from this number. I didn't answer---it's 10:40 at night, and I don't recognize the number, so...I let it go to the answering machine.

No message left. If it's some stupid survey, why are they calling so late at night? That seems counterproductive to me.

I too am on the do-not-call list. But if it's about some political thing, I don't think they fall under the do-not-call regulations.

Is there no time of day that is safe to be home and not be pestered?

First call from this number also.  Caller ID said unknown name.  My fax machine answered, so hopefully will leave me alone after this.   Interesting.......I do have AT&T for long distance carrier on my land line.
