Ok just want to know why I can't call this number back after they called me

Got a phone call from this number yesterday. The lady caller said she could get me a grant of $7500 from the US government and never have to repay. I asked her what it was going to cost me and she replyed that it would cost me my life and hung up. Crazy ...do people really fall for this? This number traces back to Washington DC but when you call it back you get a recording that all circuits are busy. Seems like there would be a place to report this kind of activity so it can be shut down

I noticed I had missed a couple of calls coming from this number and then when I did answer, nothing would be said.  This past weekend they called again and my boyfriend was with me and I hand him the phone and they ask for my son, I think, cause the name they give is the same as his. Anyways, they ask my boyfriend if he is this person and he replies with "you have the wrong number".  The guy gets upset and calls him a f*(%*&) liar and tells him that he will have his head for lying.  Can you say scary, especially with all the crap going on in our country nowadays.

This number called and called. I finally picked up and they stated that they are with Net Loans and that I owed them money, but they don't want it and that they are going to prosecute me. I asked them why did they call then and hung up? I then promptly called my Attorney who said it was a scam.

The do not call list is a scam. I keep getting even more of these unsolicited types of calls since I registered with them. This number calls constantly. Leaves no message. And since I don't know anyone in dc. I refuse to answer.

I get call 3 times a day and no one answer or leave messages

Caller said he was calling to inform me because I have not filed for bankruppcy that I was going to recieve 10, 000 from the US department of treasury

They called 5 times, and when I finally answered, they asked if I was Scott Hanson, and when I said "Yes" they hung up. If I call it back, it says all circuits are busy. I'm politically active, and NOT a Liberal, so I'm wondering....

Some one call me from this number 2026587468. Asking for Diana I told them I had the wrong number and they cursed at me. I don't know who it was the most probably it is a group of scammers.

Received a call from this number. I did not answer nor will I but Uncle Sam and their mighty technology needs to put a stop to these con artist.

This number keeps calling me. I never answer, it rings once or twice, never leaves a messages.

Received several call from a male with a very heavy accent previously. Told me he was with the United States Federal Grant Department and I was chosen to receive a grant of 6,7,00 Dollars. He said will it on my porch but how much of that money I would give him for doing that. I told him I really work for the govenment myself. He started laughing then said the F word and hung up. But no number show up on my telephone that could identify him.
Also, today I received three calls from a female with a very heavy accent. Told me she was with the United States Federal Grant Department and I was chosen to receive a grant of 7,000 Dollars. I never have to pay it back and I never have to pay taxes on it. I told her that I work for government myself. She said F word, Then she hung up. The Company name showed up as PLD, INC    202-658-7468.

Keeps calling all day long. I don't answer. Hey dudes, not everyone is stupid, unlike ourselves. Better find a better job!

Calls several times each day without leaving a message.  No message equals scam.

I asked who was calling and where from. He told me to "shut up [***]", and hung up!! I never laughed so hard in my life!!

I had a male with an Indian accent called and I was chosen to receive a grant of $7,000. Ask me if my information was correct and ask give me an account number and ask him will be receiving it in a e-mail then said something which I didn't understand him so during that call I told myself its a scam. Also he gave me the accounts number and stuff. The company named showed up too as PLD, INC with the same number 202-658-7468.

Chill,  I'm mexican. No mexican ever called me,  just an Indian and a Chinese person

Excessive calls, no message

This number calls me at least 4 or 5 times a day. I answer to tell them to stop calling me and when I answer and say hello they hang up. One just called and said he was calling from the federal Grant Department. I asked why and he hung up. Why call me just to hang up? This is very irritating especially when I block the number and they start calling from a different number. I don't know what else to do. Next time I think I'm just going to act really polite to keep them on the phone and then give them an earful. At least it will make me feel better.
