Another caller not answering when i say hello.

1st I received an OUT OF AREA call & shortly after that I received this call out of Washington, DC from 202-683-1404.....I didn't answer since I believed it was a solicitor calling.....what is this???

Left a message saying they were a cash grant program based in Washington, DC and said I qualified for a cash grant to help me with my financial problems.

Several times a day with no answer on other end

Too many of these salls coming insince my husband died. About a hlf dozen different numbers that call hour afte hour. Let it ring 4 times and hang up/ I also thought it was illeagle to make these calls on Sundays

Incessantly calls my cell phone claiming I'm eligible to collect grants, and there is $50 million dollars in uncollected grants available if I go to their website. Looking up the WhoIs for the website says the company operates out of Hong Kong. Can't speak to an operator or request removal from their calling list via website, either. The website's sole purpose is to collect your info to send you more spam. Don't give them any personal info, this is a scam!

called me yesterday, I got excited called back after work, no answer, I left my e-mail address, yay spam.  I'm def. on the do not call list this is wierd!

CALLED BACK AND GOT A FORIEGN SPEKING MAN.

THEY ARE CALLING ON MY AND MY WIFES CELL PHONE....WHO IN HELL IS GIVING THEM THESE NUMBERS....IM REPORTING THEM TO THE ATTN GENERAL IN ILLINOIS HERE....THIS IS [***]

Well i am glad i goggled this number we were scammed once not happening again ,thank you for your feed back. Is good to have people who care about other people. I am definitely reporting this number they should not have access to any ones number with out permission.

wow- well it is illegal for anyone to solicit a person over a cell phone. I filed my complaint with the FCC.

Received a call from this number on my cell...how dare they use up my minutes!  No one answered but it's still annoying!

just got a call myself but no voicemail.  i will not be calling them back

I REC'ED A MESSAGE FROM THIS NUMBER STATING THAT I CAN REC A GRANT AND I NEEDED TO APPLY ON A WEB SITE. THIS WAS A VERY BROKEN MESSAGE. I DELETED THE MESSAGE. IF THE CALL CONTINUE I WILL CHANGE MY NUMBER.

got a call from this number about a grant. If I need money that bad, I know i don't need anyone from this number to help me. because these people are a flam , I will give you a flam name. ME.

This is the 3rd time this call has come through. Its a scam and should be looked into....isn't this against the law???

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE INFO ON THIS 202-683-1404 number, IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT USUAALY IS, BUT THE NUMBER DID COME UP ON MY CALLER ID AND THEY DID LEAVE A MESSAGE THAT THEY COULD HELP ME WITH A FREE 25.000 GRANT, TO BAD IT ISN'T TRUE. HARD TIMES ARE REALLY HERE. CAN'T SOME ONE IN OUR GOVERNMENT STOP THESE SCAMS? THE NAME OF THE COMPANY WENT BY [THE CASH GRANT INSTITUTE OF WASHING D.C.]
