Caller reached my personal cell phone, asked for a relative by name, claiming to be doing "Research on behalf of CareFirst BlueCross Blue Shield", then immediately hung up after being asked to state what research.

Called by (202) 686-9742 and a male voice said "Hello, my name is Mark Davis, may I speak with (full name of adult child in my family)?" No further identification. He hung up immediately after finding I wasn't going to leap into action to do his bidding.

I was tired of being interrupted by calls from this number so I answered one today. Caller at this # said this is a customer satisfaction survey from a financial institution where I do have an account. He said it would take about 15 minutes. I thought "why not?" so said OK. He asked me the first question which was vague so I asked him to clarify it. Then he said oh he just found out that the survey quota was filled and they didn't need to speak with me further and he hung up. Honestly I hadn't been suspicious until then.

Good luck with that. They will call you back anyway. I have requested to be removed from their calling list 6 times, with no luck.

This number called me and I havent answered. Now they are calling my parents and even my in-laws looking for me. Seems a bit extra for a survey.... Do I owe them money???

Called every day for a week and every day I told them politely to remove me from the calling list. They are nice to call me at 9:28pm to wake me and my baby up!

Received call CNAM NATL RESEARCH CNUM 202-686-9742. Female addresses me by name as Molly wanting to do a survey. Asked who's calling she said Molly White with National Research wanting to do a political survey. I said a generic term like National Research describes many things. I started to ask questions about addresses and contact number. Of course this untrained, unsupervised, unmonitored and evasive call center rep knew nothing but their call center was "located near VAN NESS a major street in DC." Online search shows a National Research (Inc and a LLC) with the number being associated with a couple named individuals. Online search also shows they call under various guises. I am aware that surveyor's and political calls do not have to access state and federal DNC registries. But, these predators preying on the elderly, vulnerable and uninformed are supposed to do these calls with some degree of professionalism and ethics. My FTC and state of Florida DNC complaints will be about possible fraudulent, unfair, deceptive, and abusive business acts and practices. I also see possible connections with the RNC (Republican National Committee) and T65 Health care.

Research places are legally allowed to call you, bc they are not selling but doing research.  If the number is dialed randomly by the computer, they don't know who you are, anyway.  Just say take me off your list and by law, they must remove you from their list.
