I received a call from this number and it was telling me I had won $50,000.  So it appears to be generated in different areas, not just politics.

I got this call it said from D.C, I thought OMG the President, I thought I finally get to call him a [***] in person

Never answered the number since I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. Message says "Will call back later." That's it. No one ever identifies who they are. I've not added them to my blocked numbers list.

Received a call on Sunday evening, didn't pick up...they left a message that asked me if I voted for Mitt Romney in 2012 and then a different voice said we may call back again.

Received a call from this number asking if I voted for mitt Romney. I love the block number feature of iOS 7 cause this is when it's needed.

They left a message saying it was a political call and may call back later.

The automated voice asked me if I voted for Mitt Romney. It is offensive to have a group contact me and ask personal question concerning my political affiliation or questions regarding my voting history. [***]

I received a call for a political survey on my cell phone from this number.  I was NOT polite to the person calling.  My cell is for personal use only and the number is not shared with anyone for this purpose.

Immediately emove this number from any/all lists and do not sell, share or give the number with any other person/company/candidate/organization.

After reading the past comments, my spidy sense tells me the general approach to this intrusive polling technique is avoided by smart folks. Those folks less savy, ignorant, or uneducated are answering the phone poll and hence providing a data point. The scary part is Obama is quoting these polls to justify, support, enable a particular political item or agenda.

I not only get a few calls a day on my home phone, now I'm getting them on my cell phone?????  How do we STOP robo calls?  They should be illegal!  I'm reporting this to my state senator.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone but it went to voicemail before I could answer and there was only a partial word by a female that left as a message. Whoever it was, she obviously was hanging up the phone at the same time she uttered that word, whatever it was. This was on a Sunday afternoon and the calling number tracked back to DC. I live in Alaska so I know for a fact it wasn't some Georgia water, gas and electric company that was calling to ensure their gas line to Alaska was intact and working up to par.

@ SkagwayAlaskaCell: Apparently whoever is doing the calling, it's directed towards Alaska this weekend. I got my call on Sunday, 10/12/2014. Only difference is that I let the call go to voicemail and they didn't leave an understandable message.

They're calling cell phones, people on the do not call list in Alaska today from both parties. Somehow they have a directory of cell numbers. Shows up as;

I received a call from this number on my cell phone and did not answer.  A voicemail was left and it was automated saying it was a political call and they may call back later.  So I blocked the number.  

They called me at 12:30 AM! wTF
