I received same message and at the end (in a woman's computer voice) all she could do is say "good luck" best to delete or just pick up and hang up quickly.

Threatening calls from this number. Says legal action pending. Garbage!!

called on March 21, 2016  .....at 12:26 pm.  Guess these ppl have nothing better to do with their lives!

Got a call this a.m. saying I had a lawsuit against me and needed to respond immediately.

Got a message claiming I had a law suit against us I didn't catch all that they were saying before I trashed it.

They called me on 4/5/16 at 12:26, same partial message about me or my currently appointed attorney calling them back as "the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive" and that if I did not respond, the person can only wish me 'good luck' as the situation unfolds on me. No names nor case or suit numbers were mentioned. I called back and it rang and rang for about a minute, and then went to a busy signal (granted, it was a weekday evening).

About 2 years ago I received a similar message from a different phone number that did state she (foreign accent) was with the US Treasury (Los Angeles office) and included a case number. I called back, spoke with the same person who left the message, asked the person why nothing was sent in the mail ("we don't  do that because just anybody at your home could open your mail"...uh, last I checked, that was a felony), asked to speak to the supervisor who gave me his name, said he was an attorney for the US Treasury, and gave me his attorney bar #. I did some searching and the bar number he gave me matched the name he stated, but the bar association said that he was registered in Washington state and then currently employed with the city of Bellevue. The reason they stated for calling me was a fraudulent tax return from several years prior, but per the irs.gov website, they can contact you for a minor issue on returns within the  last 3 years but not longer than the previous 6 years for a substantial error - the fraudulent message indicated my tax return being audited was more than 6 years prior. I realized it was a scam when  I'd argued with the 'attorney' long enough that HE hung up on ME.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

They called and left a message from Ms. Brown from the legal department from the IRS. It was the same message as she left others and ended with "Good Luck"

Same as above. I'm almost tempted to call back and mess with them, but why put the stress on my blood pressure? Better to ignore it. Namaste!

Got a call from this number (202-800-5582) this afternoon.  Guy was perky and called me by my first and last name.  He said "this is Andrew from Pirg".  I said i didn't know him and he apologized and hung up.
