Many, many, MANY reports on this number elsewhere. Loan scam.
Thought it was a political pollster ("Washington DC") on the day of the 3rd Presidential "debate", but no...   loan scam.
I got this call on a Federal and NY-State "Do-Not-Call" listed work number.

Like so many other robo-calls and Google ad salespeople, they keep swarming to my Do-Not-Call-listed phone. Coming non-stop,

We know: Do-not-call has meant nothing at all, and the clock just keeps tick-ticking away as the telephone companies ignore the outpouring of consumers (and agencies of the US too!) demanding that phone companies do the easy - and RIGHT - thing and give customers (of the non-criminal spamming variety) the right to block robo-calls and spoofed CID's. And how about enforcing existing law to end the flood of such stuff?

With these never-ending scam factories, you can block it - as I just did with this - but like a Whack-a-mole it will just come back masquerading as another number. The ONLY way to stop this nonstop glut of robocalls and spoofed scam&spam mills is to have the phone companies lift a finger (different than the one they now show consumers) and deploy the tools already there (along with Federal permission and encouragement to use them) and stop these criminals from invading our phones.

U.S. Senator Schumer is pushing legislation REQUIRING Telcos to block robo-calls and spoofs for both mobile and landline phones, a great idea which the public wants clearly, which FTC and FCC have approved, which brought competition for software which now exists for Telcos, and is being held back only because the Telco's don't feel like deploying consumer protections. Please report to local authorities and to be most effective, write your Senator and sign the Consumers Union petition demanding that Telephone Companies give us the #1 thing we so need and want - protection from robo-calls and spoofed Caller ID's.  It's easy to fix, if OUR chosen phone providers just do it, for all of us. I'd bet that the provider who does so voluntarily will get tons of new business, but as of now, none do. AT&T has finally announced an action plan to be announced in October, but we're "on hold" to see if and when they actually deploy the tools they've long had at their disposal.

We need as collective mega-users of the phone companies, to DEMAND that they lift a pinky to responsibly serve consumers in America. We need Congress to act on this (along with so much else!). All we can do is raise our voices until telco's act responsibly or are ordered to do so, in the face of their continued stalling.

This past summer AT&T (alone) announced it will respond to the massive outcry (as reported by CU) and put together a "strike force" to implement a solution by October.  (It's now mid-October. Hello? Any news? Do we think Washington is paying attention to voters with phones?)  We'll see... The phone companies already know what to do ("the right thing") and have the tools. When can we get relief? SPEAK OUT! Complain. Demand.

The Consumers Union petition is easy to sign onto and - aside from Sen. Schumer in the oh-so-effective Senate -  offer's the only loud voice the Telco's might hear through their static - worth signing still until our telephone companies - who have the fixes in hand - end this plague:

Speak out! Do-Not-Call is a joke and criminal fraudsters using robo-call and fake identities are only increasing. There's an easy fix waiting.

On DNC and STILL get daily scam calls 2-3x day.

It's come to the point now, where if I'm not expecting a call from anyone important and I dont know the number, I let it go to voicemail. If it's important they'll leave a message.

Colleen I am the same way and I use my cell number for business and scheduling clients. I still don't answer calls I don't recognize especially if out of area code. It's awful to have to be that way.

Called my cell today, ringing three times then hang up. leaving no VM.  According to reports here it is a business loan scam robo call (thanks).  I do not answer calls - I run a white list.  Otherwise LEAVE A MESSAGE!

I don't both answering unknown numbers anymore.  This company is a scam and calls my phone from many different phone numbers.

Called, left no message.  I always check this site before i even attempt to call back if no VM left. Thanks everyone.  Tired as hell of the scammers blowing up my phone.  Grrrr.

I can't stand this anymore.  I receive some 4-6 calls daily fm area codes all over USA.  Since July-Aug 2016, I dread just turning on my cell phone. How are they getting my cell phone #...from the "Do Not Call" list? I reject call, and I know it is just another scam.  I signed the Consumer Union petition.  Many thanks to the poster above who provide such helpful ini.

Have gotten multiple calls from this number in the last month.  While I hope that death soon visits them and everyone in their extended families - and very quickly, they are not the only scumbags here.  So is the worthless blackhouse crowd of political crooks (starting right at the top) that are more interested in their personal cash enrichment from the cell phone industry lobbyists, as well as the scumbag cell phone companies themselves who could easily stop this from bothering their customers who lease these lines from them (by an easy call blocking function on each line) as they protect this endless list of scummy scammers, many of them with ties directly to terrorists that would harm us.  Cash is king in Bawreck Obuma's Amerika....
