If you are going to list anything on Craigs list or even in Newspaper it would be wise to get a track phone/disposable phone & number then ditch it when you sell whatever you listed. Reason- everyone knows that reads the paper that you are selling a "1956 Convertable for $23,000" hello robbers!
Also not wise to have them meet you at your home to sell it unless furnature- why not at the local bank where you can deposit you money afterward- or somewhere else safe so they don't have your address too.

I have never been on craigslist but I got the same call as everyone else. I have been getting calls from different unknown numbers for several months now. Are you registered on jobs.com? Because I've read on some other forums that jobs.com sold all of their users phone numbers some time last year.

Rang once and stopped from this number.

I called back on a blocked line. They stated it was a reward company affiliated with a web site I visited. I've dealt with call like this before. It's a scam

Just got a call 7:30 (pacific).  Called it back and they said I had recently gone to one of their sites which made me eligible for a $100 gift card, usable at places such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.......I hung up

2 rings, hung up; 9:15 am this morning.

Received calls from 664-412-0069 on 1/11, 649-232-9841 1/14 and 203-242-7886 1/15 (today).  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it.  If it's legit, they'll leave a message if not....oh well, no return call!!

they only called twice and hung up, no voicemail. I returned the call a couple hours later and it was automated saying this is Julie with so and so pretty much "rewarding" you with a $100 gift card to almost any where (Walmart, BestBuy).. press 1 to receive the gift card or press 2 to be placed on DO NOT CALL LIST. it says CT,USA. A couple weeks ago I got a phone call from I BELIEVE a (307) area code anyway I didn't know who it was and my BF answered he said they had the wrong number but she insisted that she did. she then pretty much told him the same thing as what this automated system said. when he went to hand me the phone she hung up on him. we tried to call it back and it was a busy signal. he googled the number (as did with this one) and it said it was a scam they tell you that you have WON a gift cad for $300 and all you pay for is shipping and that EACH MONTH $3.00 will draft from account equaling the gift card amount (your paying for your gift card). SCAMMM!!!! I would assume this is similar!!! DONT DO IT YALL, SCAMMERS!!

NEVER EVER call it back or hit any number to remove from the list as this now flags your number as a working, live number and they will call you back with their robo caller crap and also sell your number to others as a live number.

I think It's a scam to get you to call them.  I got the same call that hangs up after a couple rings.
