this number wont stop callen but no one says anything and they wont leave message ,i searched number and got nothen,,

This middle Eastern woman has called me before about the U. S. Government giving me a 7,000.00 grant. I
want this to stop. This is a scam.

I tried to call it back but it just had a recording saying the number wasn't a working number

i know ..it is ALWAYS this guy  my mother is 84   i gave her my cell ph in case ..(when i travel anything could happen to her ) and she worries constantly    i wonder IF the US gvt can do anything . Thos epeople being based abroad and using a us number ..

Just received a call today and left no message.  Have had similar calls to everyones posts on here.  In the past he says he is an attorney and yada yada yada.   It's been awhile since I've received a call from "these people" but they used to be out of the state of NY.   Maybe they're moving around to avoid being caught, who knows?

complaints/donotcall.gov  is a website where you can report scam & telemarketing calls to the FCC.  once you're on the donotcall list (use the same website to get on it) they're not supposed to call you.  if everyone took the extra 4 seconds to report these calls, they'd get in trouble really fast.

I got a call a few minutes ago with the same accent guy, ID indicated it was calling from Seatle, WA. HAHA! I told him if I won those $7,000 wire it to me via Western Union, and he kept on and on, there are four options, to your bank, credit card or debit card, oh yea? I told him you think Im giving you my bank account number or my credit cards number? he said, no, no, how many times do I have to tell you I don't want those numbers? So I told him, well I am not interested, bye bye and I hung up on him. I tried that number in my cell phone and it was disconnected, what a scam? are there people that will fall for something stupid like that? Good By Mohamed whatever your name is, which Im guessing!

Caller had an accent.  After a pause while their robo-call system connected us, caller asked for Joe, I told him he had the wrong number, this was a cell phone, protected by the can not spam act, and that if he called back, I would report him. He asked my name, and I told him once again that if I had any further calls, he would be reported, he replied saying I didnt even know why he called, and I said I dont give a D*#$ why you called, call me again, and and you will be reported, and fined.  He interrupted, called me a Mother F&C@&#, said "what you going to do, you cant do anything @$$-H@L3"
I said fine then, I'm reporting your number d1ckhead, and hung up on him.

I've searched the number online, and they apparently have been claiming to be the government, and offering a $7000 check to try to scam people.

Next stop, FCC and FTC.  Hope he likes jackboots at his door, and large fines.

If you get calls like this, report them to the FCC, what they are doing is illegal, and they *will* be prosecuted, or whoever their contact is in America will be, and they will go back to hell where they belong.

Someone from 206-344-9277 called me.  When I answered a woman said hello I said hello back and she hung up on me.  This happens all the time.  I am quite tired of it.

I got that same call like 25 mins ago when they asked how I wanted the money I told them I dont know and they hung up on me its a scam I know it is and if they call back Im gonna call them out on it
