I got a call today (may 4, 2010), which I did not answser. A message was left, but it was the end of a recorded message, unintelligible. It took about 10 minutes to find their name: ver-a-fast and their website verafast.com and their phone numbers. I called 4403310250, a human answered, and I asked to be taken off their list. She said it would be done.

Unfortunately, there are companies attempting to verify your phone number. A *verified* phone number list is way more valuable to telemarketers who pay good money for such lists.  I seriously doubt anyone will be taken OFF the list, but I am purely speculating.

this number calls me 2-3 times a day, the message says "weare verifying service, we will call back later."  Someone needs to stopthem.  I am also on Do Not Call registry.

I receive calls daily from this number, sometimes no message left, sometimes the end of a prerecorded message.  The best way to stop these calls is to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commision online, along with having your phone number on the DO NOT CALL registry.

Called at least 10 times, left a recorded message that it was a service call and they would get back to us later. I also filed a complaint with Do Not Call. I think that DNC is a joke. only way to get rid of the callers is to get rid of the phone line. It's annoying.

2063957138..I acgtually picked up this call...silence (dialer system) then accented female voice asked for my by name...I asked who was calling...she said US bank, than asked again if she could talk to me..i told her she was...then she spewed out an 888 number too fast for me to get, and hung up.

We've been getting daily calls from 206-395-7180 which appears that it is around Seattle, WA.  When I actually spoke with someone and asked them to remove us from the list and that I was going to report the number to the no call registry - this idiot said some really bad unmentionable things.  I'd really like to find the actual company so that I could report him - probably wouldn't do a bit of good though.  The number is constantly busy when I try to call it.  Oh and the recording is Verafast Tax Solutions from that number.
