They have been doing the same thing to me however today they messed up and called me from a foreign number. The number is 00442064206479. The name he keeps leaving me is Jacob Brown. Thank you for posting that this is fraud.

They keep calling me and now calling me at work.

They are calling from all different places

They are never allowed to call your place of work! This is a [***] fraud! They stop calling me after I spent a week calling them back about 20 times a day! They are violating Fair Debt Collection Practice!!!!! Tell them you have an attorney and that you know your rights and they are violating them! Do not let them bully you!

I been getting the same calls since Friday and the guy told me his name was John Wilson he left me several messages on Friday and I have been so nervous all weekend I finally got in touch with somebody this morning and he said his name was John. He was telling me that I was going to go to prison for fraud and that I needed to settle this today and I had to pay 539.23 in order to get this resolved. I tried to explain to him that I have my lawyer and if he can give me the name of the payday loan company that I owe and I can discuss this with them. He was just trying to override what I was saying and telling me again about how my ss # is under investigation and that the local police department have my information. He wanted me to get a Walmart card and send him the money today but I told him that I do not live by a Walmart and then he said how about a western union I said that I can do that but it will have to be by the Feb. 25 he then put me on hold and came back and said what time I am going to call him Monday and I told him by 3:00. But now I know that this is all a scam and I will not be calling him back on Monday.

I got a message this morning and he said his name was Jimmy Johnson and was paralega restitution offiver for "Dispate Resolution Center".  He said my social security number was under investigation for fraud and that I needed to call immediately.

Today there was a message on my phone from a guy with a heavy accent. He said his name was Jimmy Johnson. It was from 206-420-6479. I couldn't understand everything he was saying and it sounded like someone was beeping on the other line. He said something about my social security number being under investigation and about me being a suspect and I need to respond as soon as possible. The part I did hear didn't make sense. I went online to see who the number was associated with and saw all the comments. I'm glad I did because I will not be returning the call.

I received a call from this number. He did not even know how to pronoun my name. Very thick accent. I've been getting calls of this nature from the time that I made a huge mistake and applied for a payday loan.
Told me that I was being sued. I told yeah, yeah I know all about it. I turned the tables on him and he hung up.

I been getting calls from these guys taking about me owing cash advance America money. They told me to pay 579.00 then case will be dismiss and no warrant will be make. if i don't pay then they're gonna file warrant on me to get arrest. so i pay 579.00 to the account department 208 witch is Mr.White. Today i receive a call from David cooper account department 209. He want me to pay 800 dollars today or within an hours I'll be arrest so i did pay the 800 dollars to David cooper on department account 209. Don't know if this is a scam or not help if its a scam what should i do to get my MONEY BACK. If its a scam hope these people goes behind bars.

Do NOT call or pick up these people they are fraud scam people. these heavy accent middle east Indian people. they just want to scare you to pay them with money pack. they'll harass you or threaten you with warrant arrest etc... these people call me like almost every week or so. but i careless. i file a complaint to the fcc, ftc, and general attorney about these people

Your not getting your money back, I'm sorry to say. 1) now legal action can be made over the phone, it must be in writing via mail first. 2) collection protocol, a perso. A collector can not make any threatening statements to you, it is a violation. 3) giving out third party information is illegal as well 4) check out www.ftccomplaintassistance.com to file a complaint and make sure you capture the numbers on your caller ID, write down all the names of the people you spoke with, and the call back numbers they have you, and the names of the companies. 4) NEVER PAY A  PERSON OVER THE PHONE THAT CAN BARELY SAY YOUR NAME OR SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH! (Unless you have one of those names that know one can prounced).     This scammers make me sick. They make my job so hard, bc I have to let my customers know that they didn't pay us they paid some dude in a different country, and they still owe us x amount of amount. I get calls to my personal phone by these scammers and I just mess them until they hang up.
