Report a phone call from 206-424-8913 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- SkykingReceived a call and the foreign sounding man told me my computer was being hacked and sending spam to their server. I asked who he worked for and he said G.M.I.I.P. I asked for a phone number and he gave 206-424-8913. He asked if I was at my computer and I said yes then asked him what company that was and he hung up. I "googled" the number and found this site.
- Caller: G.M.I.I.P.

Guess it's time to alert the FBI- Caller: Windows
- pfThese guys are incredible! My Pakistani's name was Paul Richards. They must think we're idiots! The last time these same jokers called they said they were with Microsoft! Do not respond to anything they ask for.
- dj robertthey are a good peoples they save my computer

- Texas GrannyMiddle eastern accent has called almost everyday this week. I hung up after a sentence or two the first few times. Today he was extremely insistent that it was urgent to take care of my computer problem. The federal government would shut down my computer because it was infecting thousands of other computers. I got his name and number. Sam Nicholson in Delaware. He said he worked for Pegasus Data Software in Delaware.
They had been contracted by Microsoft to take care of these hacking issues. It made me extremely nervous, but I hung up again. Thank goodness! Thank you for confirming that I did the right thing.- Caller: Pegaus Data Software.com
- JCA senior technician named "Richard Williams" that had a south east Asia accent contacted parents and requested that they do some stuff on their computer that involved opening command prompt and getting the CLSID for the zfsendtotarget extension by typing the assoc command (it's a harmless command).
They were attempting to convince them that they had a problem with their computer and were giving them directions to login to a website.
My dad had already physically unplugged the cat5 cable from the wall before even booting up the computer so nothing happened. :) He's a smart guy, my dad. :)- Call type: Prank
- Michigan GrandmaI just got the same call. Jordan Dennis was his name & said he was from Windows Technical Support. Had foreign accent but avoided telling me what state he was calling from. Wanted me to go to my keyboard and click on the windows flag + R and then he would show me how my computer was being hacked. I know that I have had e-mail problems by things being sent under my e-mail address so I changed my password. I now believe these jokers were hijacking my e-mail and want to damage my computer. Told him that I was leery of this call would have to check it out before I did anything. I definitely will not call him back at the given # 206-424-8913. By the way, his phone call came from ph # 646-457-4289. I may be old but I am not totally stupid.
