Keep getting calls stating they can help me save money on my electricity.  Today I got 2 calls today from 2 different numbers and got the same automated message:

973.786.1525  (caller id: Andover, NJ) said they could give me a discount on my elecricity. When I asked them to take me off their calling list. They hung up.

206.445.6113 (caller id: Electric Save) Spoke to rep who said the company was Doscount Savings Center. Kept trying to get information from my Electric and gas bill so they could tell me how much of a discount I could get. They said they represented 30 different suppliers. When I asked if they were a utility broker they just repeated their script. Did not know how to answer. Since I kept refusing to give them info from my bill they said they needed to move on.

It's not a legitimate company therefore the Do Not Call list does absolutely nothing. They're scammers, and the automated message in the beginning is just to get your number, know it's working and solicit for other phone numbers to use.

Your best bet is to call the FTC and file a complaint for phone fraud.

I get 4 calls a day from this company.  It is a pre recorded message about electricity.  I know it is from telemarketing, because my electric company has my primary number if they want to reach me.

got a call today and yesterday, no answer

They called again.  I'm on the DoNotCall.gov list and they still call.  I filed a complaint at DoNotCall.gov.  Everyone should do the same.

It's an automated dialer.  It takes a few "HELLO" (loud and clear voice) for it to recognize that a human is on the other end.  Then it will play it's recorded message.

You can block callers directly from your cell phone.  I'm speaking only for Android phones.  Go to the telephone feature, press "menu" then press "Block Callers", then press "Add callers".

YFrequent calls from this number but no one ever answers. Not stopped by do not call

I blocked 2064456113 (electric company) and now they are calling from 8055805210.  These robo-callers are smart enough to get around the block. This is extremely annoying.  I hope some ethical hacker hacks into their system and destroys it.

I think these are the same scammers as Rachel from card services, and that company that was trying to get me to put a free alarm system in my house... I was getting 3-5 calls daily from various numbers and bought a call blocker (digitone brand). I do get calls sometimes, however my phone doesn't ring since I block the calls, and I feel great satisfaction knowing these losers are being hung up on... Was well worth the 100 bucks!

I too keep getting calls from this number! It is very irritating.  This is one of 4-5 numbers that I keep getting a call from.

Complaining on this site accomplishes nothing.

Fill out a complaint with the FCC. If enough people do this, they will actually look into it.

Same here Jeanne! The woman hung right up on me as soon as I started to talk and she found out I didn't have my acct #!!! UGH....

Go to DoNotCall.gov but I can tell you I have been on the do not call registry since its inception. These telemarketers with the automated calls do not pay attention to the DoNotCall Registry. Once you sign up for Do Not Call, then wait a few months, it takes a while for companies to pick up new members, then if you still get the calls, file a complaint with the FCC through the Do Not Call Registry
