calls i answer silence for 3 seconds then call goes dead what the freak

Yesterday I signed up at www.collegehelpers.com for part-time work to help out while I'm in college and today I'm getting all these calls from "Borders" in Washington State but no message.  I didn't call back because I knew Borders is now Barnes & Noble so it was likely a scam.   I checked google & found this blogsite.  If any of you signed up to get a job and are in college  - this might be where they got your info. - seems like it's where they got mine.  I'm going to unsubscribe to www.collegehelpers.com - they might have sold my info to this fake "borders".

This number called me and said I took a loan with them  last year and to pay them.  I never took a loan and said prove it, the person, and I use that loosely, started screaming at me and saying all sorts of nasty things.  I think they are in India.

Someone called me and cwhen i called back the number wasnt working.

These [***] just keep calling and calling even after being told no one is interested

This number has called me several times.Once I answered and got a lady who said something about  education. I asked them please not to call me again and put them on my phone's reject list.What I wonder about is this is a brand new phone that I have never used and never gave out the number for.

I have received the same phone call and I have done all that you have done. Today I did something different. I spoke with the computer or live person (I couldnt tell ) and I gave them little or false info including my name. Then I was routed to a real person who I spoke with for 8 min. Gave her alot of BS, I did not have a job, never went to school, spouse in military ect. When she asked me for my address I told her I dont give it out over the internet she said I cant continue this interview. I then told her that I was BS her all the time and that I didnt even give her my real name. She got a little angry and was confused. I told her I requested that her company not call me again that I was on the federal do not call list. and if I receieve any more phone calls I will waste their time just like they are wasting mine my calling me. Lets see if this works GOOD LUCK ALL!!!

The idiots called me back and I called them back. I got a live person. Call them back at 206-6224599. Go thru the prompts and get a real person. Tell them to stop calling.

I received two calls from this number. I would answer the phone and they would hang up. My wife has just blocked the number a few seconds ago.

I answered and they said something about further education these people call me during school hours and they get me in trouble so I told them to stop

U can call ur provider and tell them to block the "specific Number"

call many times a day and no message, been getting lots of spam calls lately

I am also getting calls from this number and when i call back it says number is not in service.

Just got a call from this number they asked me if i wanted to further my education then they began to ask for personal info and I hung up. who are these jerks?

Have gotten 6 calls today!!  I tell him i dont have time and he keeps talking!!  I hang up and now dont answer his calls.

This number calls every day at about the same time. I don't answer it, but I wish someone would pull the plug on these nuissance calls.
