Called cell phone.  Sounds like a foghorn and then they want to give you a cruise.  They call very often and others I know get the same call all the time.  We can report it, but the number is probably fake.

This is a scam. First, they called a cell phone, in violation of the telephone consumer protection act. Then the call is a recording, with no operator on the line when the call is answered. They claim to be a public survey and will award you two free boarding passes for an "all expense paid" cruise to the Bahamas. This is a common scam, they just want your personal information so they can rip you off.

This number called my cell. Didn't answer. Looks like its showing up a lot in the last few days.

They called me about an hour ago too. I didn't answer and there was no message left.

I just got a call from the 206-639-1216 number. Called back and all I got was a busy signal.

Come to think of it, they actually call me alot. They call me at work and its started getting annoying I wish it would stop.

the problem is not just the phone call sbut when talk to them they call you names and hung up phones on you .

Some scammy message regarding a free trip to the Bahamas for answering some questions. DELETE!

Called and left no message. If you called why would you not leave a message.

Called cell didn't answer call back

Just got the call myself. Don't know the number. Don't answer. Annoying to have my cell go off here and work.

There are several things taking place here.

 1) This CAN BE a phishing "attack" to grab user data and use that information to sell to marketing companies, or to steal CC & Banking info.

 2) This number is from a Market Research company. The reason they ask your age is because almost all of them have surveys that require someone 18 or older.

Cold calling is not quite dead yet, but it will eventually go the way of the dinosaur.

called me on a work cell....didn't answer - no message - called back & got fast busy.

I received a call as described in another post - foghorn-like  noise, then fast pitched recorded speech about winning a cruise.   How can we stop these calls?    We need regulations against this type of marketing.

Called and left no message- I don't answer calls from unknown numbers.

Called me I said hello and got a creepy voice that scared me I'm <18 it was like he was blowing in the
Microphone. It said hahhhhhhhnnnnnn and I hung up, ran to my room, shut the windows and turned on all the lights. I'm still really freaked and if they call again Im going to report it to the police.

So sick of this sh*t!!!  I don't answer anything from a Washington number anymore.  Wish there was a way to stop these idiots from bothering us.
