Got the same message here. Sounds like a scam

Same thing as all the other messages on the board except no company or caller name was given. When i picked up the phone, the caller hung up but left a partial message - "the info on you to gimme a call back as soon as you get this message. Thank you." Very broken English. Believe this is a bottom feeder who is somehow getting the phone numbers of those who either own the IRS money or are working to correct their tax issues. Don't return the call or give them any information to - very high probability it's a scam.

I missed a call and received a message from this number 206-787-9089 From an Erik Foster. I called back and was transferred to a person claiming to be Joan Walton from IRS Crimes stating that the IRS did an audit and that I'm being charged with tax fraud and that authorities will be at my home in 45min to arrest me for 90 days and my bank accounts will be frozen in 15 minutes. I asked 'Joan' why wouldn't I have received a letter from the IRS stating there was an issue with my return to me or my tax prep person and he said that in the case of tax fraud the IRS doesn't send a letter. I told him that didn't make sense at all. He began to raise his voice at me asking what wasn't I understanding in which I told him he didn't need to raise his voice. I asked for a case number and his badge number which he gave Case#CF12029 and badge# 039270. He then began to talk over me as I was asking another question with, 'just wait for the police at your house, good luck, goodbye.

This is harassment call. I had the same message.Said he was officer ERIC FOSTER.  He say's, that the situation falls on me if I don't call back! So good luck.
This number calls every so often and today again 11/19/14. I have never called back because I know it's a scam!

I received a message on my voicemail to call back this number 206 7879089 he didnt leave his name all he said was I needed to get a lawyer by the end of the day because I was supposly committing fraud on my taxes. He also to me he was going to freeze my acconts and put a lean on my house and cars. I told him I couldn't really talk due to I was working and I would give him a call back the next morning that's when he said I have 4 hours to call him back this is a fraud don't fall for it.

Yes, called with a threatening message claiming I shouldnt ignore the call or else bad things will befall on me.  LOL!!

Claimed his name was Eric Foster and I couldnt understand which company he claimed to be from.  Voice sounded as if it was being run through a voice changer with a slightly Arabic accent.

same here.  we should all call back and threaten him!  (:
