I received about 10 calls from these idiots this morning on my cell phone & house phone. It came up on my caller id as +052569163, but they tell me to call back a seattle number 206-801-3409. Just got a call from an "Eric Foster" that stated that there was a fraud case pending against me and that I needed to get back to him asap or I would loose my job, destroy my reputation and credit rating.OMG, he even had the last four of  my ss#. I am sooo glad that I googled this number. It takes a load off of my mind. He also stated that it would be in my best interest to get back to him immediately. When I did call, all circuits are busy at this time, was all that I got.

got a second call from this number today "accent" boy once again stated that a lawsuit has been filed against me but not only did he call me but he called friends threatning them as I used them as a reference for something the would be responsible as well and he also proceeded to tell them that they too would go to jail and that I signed their name to a "paper" which is totally not true.  So after talk to friends, I called this a**hole back and told him first that my references have nothing to do with my business, "fraud" of any sort has not been commited,  I them stated that I knew they were debt collectors and that they were commiting "fruad" and the minute I said that I have contacted a lawyer regarding their practices and threats, the "professional" investigator hungup on me. Last time they called they stated that they were from some type of Federal Buerau  so not true.  How do we stop these people from calling not only myself but my friends and family?

Saaaame thing happened to me. I called the police and they didnt care....so I called my local news company :) hopefully they put it out there and something is done about this!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!! It is all fraud!!! They are using scare tactics to get you to give them SS# addresses names phone numbers bank information! Just tell them you will be calling the police and hang up! if they continue to call DO NOT ANSWER! ( unless ya like screwin with theses guys ;) haha)

WOW... So today, Im at work and I get a incoming call from "052569163". Of course I don't answer and I get a voicemail. I listen to it. It's from a "Marcus Cooper" with an Indian accent, saying I needed to call back, that they are sueing me for not paying back a "PAYDAY LOAN", and he provided a call back number. So I call back and of course that can'rt speak a drop of english adn it sounded as if they were in a bathtub and all you could hear was talking in the background and it sounded so muffled. Long story short he was saying they were with the "STATE INVESTIGATION OFFICE" and I had a warrant out for my arrest. I advised him I was recording the call and he hung right up. Fact of matter is this is a scam, and they will get caught. I'm going to contact the phone company in Washington since the area code to call back was "206" Seattle area. I happen to work in the collection industry and know the laws. None of you please fall for this and I will be back to post the outcome because I WILL INVESTIGATE this matter. LOL. So stay tuned.

OBVIOUSLY the FBI is not going to call you, let alone call you from an international number.  This is a scam, they are extortionist trying to get you to pay them by threatening you. Your options are to  Ignore the calls, call the police, [***] with them, and or change your number.  

They are not part of any type of US government agency, they are fake scammers from India, wishing they could live in America and be free.  Dont fall for their ignorant traps.

I get calls for this guy all the time for my mother and her debts... my mother died 8 years ago and her estate has been settled... be careful what you tell this guy... FISHING !!!

I got a call from a russell @206-801-3409 threating me. i saved it in my phone. thinking of getting a lawyer to stop this.

Just got a call from this Troy Russell looking for my daughter on his scam.  The number he gave me was (614) 594-0472, said he was calling from Ohio and with the State Financial Crime Investigtion Unit.  Let's all report this idiot and stop him.............

Troy Russell called my cell phone, after many months of silence from him...I very pleasantly said " not interested & hung up"...he called back so I allowed it to goto voicemail, the message which I saved abruptly says " F YOU!...I SAID, F YOU! "  ....at another point in time, while not giving in to his foolish scamming ways, again in a pleasant demeanor I advised I have no time for him... he said "who the f do you think you are, Pres. Obamas girlfriend or something?"  It was so far out of left field all I could do was laugh...no fair, that's what I'M suppose to do.

Get his real address and get him to state on the record that if his legal threats turn out to be a scam, he will allow a Tomahawk cruise missle to be airmailed to his office building aka call centre.

just got a call from Eric Foster about the same issue. but the number was 407-598-0470

Just got a call from 206 801 6132 it was a recording telling me that my debit card has been frozen and to press 1 for instructions on what to do to fix it,I hang up immediately

These Indian punks called my number and  tried to tell me that there was a warrant for my arrest in the Federal Tax Crimes unit of the IRS....  Told me to surrender to the county sheriff immediately OR call him to "settle it" as to NOT issue an arrest warrant....  (Yeah right...!)

Weird thing is, they were able to spoof the caller ID to mimic our local Sheriff's Dept.  It was their exact number.  They told me to call a "Kevin Brown" in the Seattle office of the IRS - (who just answered "hello" in a thick Indian accent).  I started asking him all kind of questions and immediately put me on hold and said, "Here - talk to the FBI....!"  Then he transferred my call to the ACTUAL Seattle FBI office!  It rang immediately and I was on the phone with an actual FBI agent....  It is clearly an Indian scam team using phone number spoofing equipment/techniques and a quick forward button to transfer calls....  

These idiots are beyond belief....  I only wish I could reach through the telephone line and smack him in the face with the sole of my very dirty shoe....!   Biggest insult imaginable in that part of the world......   TOTAL COCKROACHES.........!
