Received a call from unknown number 207-403-1342 and no meaasage was left. I am on a do not call registry so why are they calling me- no known number that I even recognize.

This is so helpful, people needs to know their not alone. This number keep calling my phone, but now since reading posts I'm just not going to answer.

they want to verify your name, age and zip code.
what can someone do with that?
They use to call about the transvaginal mess, now it's a $9k US grant.
Can't officials stop this?

DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFO. They claim to be calling from " health and government district" it's a scam they want u to give them a bank account number so they can send 9k total scam

I have received several calls telling me that they are from the United states Federal government grant program. Not one of the callers is from the USA when I told them to remove my number off of the list they hung up and when I call back it will not go through

Same number has called 5 times today. No voicemail left. I answered on the last call and they hung up

I got the same guy with a foreign accent (I'm guessing Nigerian). He asked for  the man who had my phone number 15 years ago.  I occasionally get collection agencies calling for him. When I asked if this was a collections agency, he said he was calling from the US government. I couldn't understand anything else he said, but I will definitely try your tactic on the next telemarketer I get.  Thanks for the great idea!

Called me and claimed to be from the U.S Department of Federal Crimes.  I laughed and told the heavily thick accented woman I doubt it and bite me.

Googled the department...it does not exist *gasp*

Shows how stupid some people have become to actually believe that if the government thinks you have done something wrong, that they will actually CALL you and give you a heads up.

This number has called me 3 time back to back when I'm at work and when I call back it does not go throw???

Have been getting calls from this number for some time now and never answer if I don't know the number well today I finally did. Some guy with a terrible accent asked for me and I wouldn't say it was me. I kept asking "who is this?" And finally they hung up.  DO NOT ANSWER FROM THIS NUMBER IT IS A SCAM

Keep getting call from this number, no idea who it is there are calling my cell phone  when I try to call back goes to fast ringing then hangs up I am seeing what I can do to report these calls  if there is any legal action I can tak

received call twice. no message. so I blocked the number after looking up the number and reading about it on this site.

This number has called me several times in the past week. Yesterday, I was in bed with a migraine and when it called I answered. It was a female claiming that I had been chosen to receive a grant from the government for $9000. The person had a very thick accent and gave me another number to call and a pass code. Did not call the other number.

They call me multiple times a day when I answer no one will say hello...it's very distracting and frustrating...please report this to BBB Better Business Bureau

They started calling me again this morning back to back after a 2 month break keep trying to give me a government grant that even if I had been accepted for one, wouldn't it be somebody from Washington or somewhere who actually speaks English and not Istanbul sounding mofos. These [***] are looking for [***] dumb enough to fall for the "I'll give you this if you give me that' scheme.

Keep getting calls from this number.
They ask for me, and when I ask them who they are, they say F-U and hang up.
