My caller ID for this number said "NATL SERV CENTE".
No message left.

Just listen to the message and it will say do you want to be taken off the call list. I answered and it finally said press 2 to opt out of the call list.

Just got a call from them, I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message either. I put them on my blocked list though.

They called a few times which has an automated response on answer. So last time they called, I stayed muted.

I just got a call from this number.  I answered and there was a recorded message, so I hung up.  I have found with telemarketers that if you file a complaint with the DO NOT CALL registry every time they call, they will eventually stop calling.

Answered this call, Someone trying to sell Health Insurance.

Please have them blocked .They call 2 or 3 times a day.

I got a call from this same number at 9:15 am today.  No message.  I dialed *67 and called back just to get a busy signal.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.  It's scary how fast your info gets around electronically... just don't give your number out, period.

This is not a legitimate company. Registering with the Do Not Call list does nothing to stop these people. Only legitimate companies pay attention to the DNC, scammers do not. Pressing 2 to be removed from their list does NOT get you removed. Since this is a robocall, they often get disconnected numbers. Pressing 2 lets them know that yours is a valid number and you will just get more calls, not only for the current scam, but from future ones as well. Their numbers are usually spoofed and the number you see on your caller ID is usually not the actual number that they are calling from. Most are based in foreign countries and there is very little legal recourse. You might try buying a boat/sport air horn, clicking on the number to talk to a live person and blasting it in the mouthpiece every time they call. Leave enough ears ringing and maybe they'll quit calling! That's what I'm contemplating doing.

got two calls this week from Caribou ME, didn't answer either. don't know who they are but wish they would stop.

I have stopped answering the phone unless I know who is calling.

The reverse phone number on another web site showed the name "Debbie" located on Main Siding Rd., Caribou, Maine. It is a land line phone. Incidentally, the Caribou Maine police department phone number is 207-493-3301 in case anyone wants to contact them.

I found an email address for the police chief in Caribou, Maine: Mike Gahagan, policechief@cariboumaine.org. I have emailed him requesting that he investigate this caller.

"Thank you for contacting me about this matter. Unfortunately for the past month or so someone has been using Caribou, Maine telephone numbers to make numerous calls all over the United States. This is being done by a tactic called "spoofing", where the caller uses a computer program to mask their phone number and replaces it with a fake number, such as the phone number you are getting the calls from. None of these phone calls are actually originating from Caribou. Fairpoint Communications Security, the landline telephone provider for Maine, has been made aware of the situation and have received numerous complaints from other victims. They do have an ongoing list of numbers being used and are looking into the matter.

Just got a call from this number...when I answered they hung up.

We keep getting calls from this number and are on the do-not-call registry.  We don't know anyone in ME and they never leave a message.  We would like them to stop bothering us.
