Got it on my cell at work today. It is illegal to call cell numbers automatically for telemarketing. I answered and it was a recorded message for car warranty, the same one I get at home all the time. How do we complain to get this stopped?

They called me too...All I want to know is how did they get my number???

I was in my second block class at high school, in Kentucky when I recieved 4 missed calls from this number. Since I can't use the phone at school i googled this number. I'm only 16, and a little creeped out.

This #207 925-1732 is calling me repeatedly...I do not get a message on Voicemail

I answered it and heard a recorded message that I've been pre-selected to settle my debts at 50%.  Not sure how I was pre-selected because the number they called is a bankruptcy attorney's office.  Just a sales scam, beware!

I also received a call from them today. No message left. I called back and it said that it was disconnected. Who's calling me then? A ghost? How weird.

Got call on cell answered and requested to speak to supervisor.  They stalled for a minute then finally hung up on me.

I got a call fr them too and I think we need to report this to the authority. I answered it because I thought someone I know that moved there, but no answer!

Similar comments. My husband and I both got calls from same number on cell phones. Calling back, the number is disconnected.

I definitely think this is a scam.

I just got the call.  I didn't pick it up (rang for a while though).  Probably a scam.  But have no idea how they got my number.

They just called me in Nebraska.  Didnt answer but thank you for all the responses above.  I will continue to not answer phone calles from this number.

ive been called twice now from the "extended warranty" people. i picked up both times because i too know people in maine and recognized the area code. the first time, i just hung up after the message played. this time i wanted to speak to someone, so i pressed 1 and was transferred immediately to a representative. the first thing he asked me was for the make/model/year of my car. i basically grilled him about how he got my number (he called me on my cell, and i never give the number out), what company he was calling from, etc. the whole thing sounded so fishy. he said he would remove my number from their database, so hopefully problem solved.

I got a call this morning. It was playing christmas music as a ring tone. I dont have Christmas ring tone on my cell. I looked up the # and it came up as mr. and Mr. Walse of Me. I have been scamed before. From a jail in IL. I reported this to ME Police.

I got this call at 7am! Like everyone else I was supicious.. so I end up calling them back.. of course it was disconnected! They called me 3 other times too, but i just didn't answer the call because i don't know anyone from that area! Well... I think it's a scam... so I am not ever going to pick a call from the 207 area because I don't know anyone from that area! Well, i thought i was the only one that gets a strange call so often, but hey I am not alone! Good thing i don't answer calls i don't know!

Today is Friday -- I got one call this morning from them and two yesterday afternoon from them; Monday I was at radioshack to get my 11 month old tracfone extended for another year w/800 minutes.  This is the first call I've received from somebody I don't know.  It only rang about 30 seconds each time and each time I didn't pick it up fast enough.  When I called back I got a disconnected number message.  What is the way to make a complaint?  If the FCC won't make them stop, who else is there to notify?  (I don't see anything in my tracfone booklet about how to block a number.)

is it possible that a wireless phone can be targeted the same way a wireless internet laptop can be located (similar to someone driving along in a car scanning for a wifi)
