I received the same message today at 11:07 a.m. I won a thousand dollar gift card from best buy. But the number was 541-933-7527.  I was upset also that they had my name.

Got same message at 5:41am  4-18-11, but phone # is 508-419-2547,  have BB rewards card, and Sears bonus card, wonder how they got my info too.  Had my first name in it also.  Ought to be someway to burn these people, and GoDaddy for allowing illegitimate domain names to be registered.  Guess would be pretty hard to weed them out though.  Just pisses me off.

I got the BestBuy text at 3:27am on the 18th, knew it must've been a scam. Funny thing is that the name they called me, "Sid" is my nickname and only my friends and co-workers call me that.

Yeah same here, 4:55 am and I don't have any accounts or cards at Best Buy. I do have an account with Barnes and Noble.....

Mine came from number 43549. I see the scammers are getting more sophisticated.

Same issue seems to now be ocurring for phone number 213 446 1559 except it directs u to bestbuyprize.com. I received the text on March 1st 2012. Please see the thread for this number on this website.

I also did a quick search and found several different phone numbers and websites being used for this scam and apparently the scam has been going on since 2009 and is still going strong! That is quite a long time for these people to not be caught..if they are the same people...which they probably are.

Just goes to show you that u truly can't trust anything on face value! Be careful!

they called my 6 times in one hour. called them back after I was out of class, just a busy signal. Waste of my time
