Got a pre-recorded message in Spanish.  Could not get any more information.

Called my cell. Message was in Spanish.

I get these spanish speaking calls on my cell phone about 3 times a year. This time I thought I recognized the area code as one used by the Magic Jack. I am glad I don't have the time (working to pay the bills is agood thing) to do something about this crap and glad I am able to use this site to VENT! Thanks

Got the same call, didn't answer it. I found the following via NPA-NXX lookup. A complaint to their phone company might help since they aren't following the rules. ;-)

Called my Sprint cell phone and left a short recorded message in Spanish.  (I don't answer phone calls from numbers I don't recognize.)

Got a call at 11:49 AM, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm on the Do Not Call list and usually do not use this number on forms or when siging up for things.

208-991-1193 called my land line.  No message. Identification is Star, ID.

I also received a call with no message and I refuse to call these back. Every week it is from another number.  If I can';t tell who it is I ignore the call. Everyone should do the same.

Phoned recently (June 23, 2010) -- did not leave message on voice mail. I am on the "Do Not Call" list, yet I often get phone solicitations.

Missed a call from this number.  They left no message.  After checking here,,I'll add it to my don't ans list.   These scammers usually call again so I keep a Dont Answer on my cell phone list.  When they call again,,,I know not to answer or see it on my missed call alert.

You can't seem to stop them from calling,,,but you can avoid answering in the first place.   Don't bother calling them to take you off their call list,,,,they won't and it only confirms that the number they called is a good number.

Scammers often share their call list so don't help them to know which numbers have a real person at the end.

Called cell phone in June, no caller id, no answer.  Blocked!

I received a call from 991-1193 just thought you would like to know and I want to make sure that I am removed of the do not call list. I have requested it several times but I am still getting phone calls and also emails saying that I won a million dollars or more to fax or call with my back info so I have just spammed them. Is that the correct thing to do? I also got one from our bank that we use which was odd. I am disabled and can not see the caller ID so it makes it really hard for me unless my husband is home/
