Automated system called  so i returned the call and a man said my granny was being sued for wrong info on her taxes from 08 to 2013 and i told him i knew it was a scam bc irs dont call people and it is saterday and irs dont work on saterday he said the police would be at her door in two hours to take her to jail i laughed at him and told him we would all be here waiting for him he said he will beat the court house in two hours waiting for her ITS SATERDAY NO COURT HOUSE IS OPEN ON SATERDAY

I also received an automated call saying it was the IRS and saying it was my final call before suing me.  I've blocked further calls and will report the number.

they called and left a message I called them back they answered but then they betrayed to be talking to each other like old wire somebody calling me so they kept calling me back and I kept answering thank you for calling trying to Jade may I take your order please and they stop calling cuz I kept asking what kind of what do you want what do you want what do you want to hear and what do you want so I haven't heard from him since what's good for the goose is good for the gander baby next time they're going to get a whistle or a foghorn let's see how many times you going to call my [***] back

I just got one of these today saying the same thing they were from the IRS. I asked the guy his employee id and he rattled off some numbers.  I have turned them into the Treasury Inspector General there is a red button on the website for fraud calls.

Same as the others, claimed to be IRS, very broken message, something about a lawsuit. Called back, nobody there.

I got a call from 209-266-1395. It cane up on my cell phone as Califonia. It was an automated message that said the IRS is suing me and that I should call the number back.
So I calledthe number back and I reached a women who said this was Officer something. I don't remember her name, but I do remeber her saying officer. There was background noise. It sounded like she was in a busy office. I hesitated and then said, 'Is this the IRS?'
She said yes. I then asked 'The IRS of the united states?' Again she said yes. And I paused again. After 20 seconds she then said wrong number and hung up on me.
Called back and this time I got a guy who said he was Officer John something I couldn't make out. I'd told him I got a call from this number and he.asked.what that number is. I told him and he said he couldn't find it and hung up.
I called back again and the phone would ring and then go to a busy signal. I did this about four more times. It's got to be a scam.
But, think about it. What does that say about our county? What does this say about us as a people where almost anyone gets scared because of this entity that we put into place to control our tax collecting that criminals will and do exploit? Why the f did we do this to ourselves? The boston tea party was over an increase of 2 cents tax.
And here most of (not I personal. I believe I pay waaaayyyy to much in tax already) yous get upset and say that everyone needs to pay their fair share.

I also received a call today from 209-266-1395...they left a message on my answering machine threatening an IRS law suit. I did call them back but got a message saying no one was available.  I knew it wasn't the IRS....it's Sunday!  So is this a scam, or is it an actual debt collection agency?  Anyone would get a little rattled when getting this message! We have no reason to be sued by the IRS, plus I'm pretty sure they don't operate like that!!

could barely understand the message... but  sounds like most of these posts...irs...sueing.. and a  number I  couldnt  understand
