caller id says "NOVATEL" - caller  hung up when the call went to the answering machine - not going to bother asking callers like this to stop calling since they either hang up on you, continue calling or give your number to others without consent - reported

Caller ID says Novatel - caller said he was calling about my computer.  I told him to take me off his calling list and not to bother me.  I hung up and blocked this number from my phone.  It looks like this company is obviously been harassing people for a long time, you'd think our Do Not Call Registry would have helped.....evidently it's a waste of time.  I get spammers calling me 2 - 3 or 4 times a day.  Buy a phone with call blocking and save yourself the aggravation!

I've just got a call from this numer aswell, and im also from Denmark, i've also get calls from another one, says they are from Windows support, i dont have windows and they keep calling me, is there any way to stop them from calling me, and other people ?

Received various calls from this number, never accepted them incase of charge on my bill. Sick of it how do i stop it.

I talked with 2 people with Pakistan accent that claimed to have a solution to my computer (without my awareness) being hacked and used by others for criminal activities. Caller had several personal informations but hung up when being questioned as to a proper validation of their supposed effort.

Jeg er blevet udsat for lige præcis det sammen, først fra et nummer +46(192) snakkede med en dame med tyk indisk/pakistansk accent. Hun sagde en masse om at min Microsoft user account var blevet hacket bla bla bla. Og i dag er jeg blevet ringet op af dette nummer baseret i San Antonio, Texas... WTF?

I too am getting phone calls from supposed *Microsoft technicians* to either fix a Windows problem, or to tell me I called them for a Windows problem, or that my PC has a virus etc. In fact, I just now received another one of their phone calls on 10/09/2015 at 7:30PM tonight.  Anyway, the callers always possess a thick India type accent. And when I tell them I am on the Do-Not-Call list, they just laugh at me.  The problem I'm now facing is that the phone number they are using is difficult one to trace. The phone number they used tonight is: "2-1210"  <--- So now what? How does one find out 'who' & 'where' they are calling from? Btw- I also suspect that these supposed Microsoft technician phone calls will be on the rise due to the free Windows 10 upgrades coming into play? (Sigh)

Guy called the business number said he is from "Microsoft department". Tried telling us that a computer is sending information to them that it has viruses and problems. I told him I knew he was a scammer, he laughed and said "No scammer!" He continued trying to convince me he was from Microsoft. I told him we don't run Microsoft in our office (not true, but he's lying why can't I?) Also told him that there was no way he would get information from the NYC Dept of Ed servers.....and again that he was a scammer and finally hung up on him. Call ID said Novatel  210-249-0540

Got a call from 210-249-0540 a man in an indian accent knew my name and said that I won over 9k. When I laughed at him and told him he was a scammer he told me "[***] YOU". Now if any of you knew me you would know that I don't play that. I tried calling the number back and its busy, busy, busy. I am hoping he calls back so I can play with him. LOL..

Person who answered this number claimed to be from Windows support and that my computer has been sending them errors. They want to remote access my computer to find and fix the problem. Funny because I only use my iPad.

They called me claiming my computer was being hacked into & I was stupid enough to nt hang up & fall fr their scam.

This caller woke me up today. As the phine said the number was from Texas I didn't answer, since I'm from Sweden.
A tip to all the iPhone users: you can just enter the number details in your "recent calls"-list and block the number from calling you.
