I get a call from this # too.It is from NOVATEL 210-249-0540.When I answer no one is there.

This is a criminal organization trying to engage in identity theft. Don't answer. If your phone allows number blocking, block this number.

I get NUMEROUS amounts of FAX calls from this number every day.  I DON"T have a fax machine hooked up so it clogs my buisness phone machine. Important calls are NOT getting through!! I have had verizon on this for almost a YEAR with a similar number and now this one for the past few months.

The caller knew my name and said he was calling from Microsoft because they've noticed my computer is running slow. I told him "this is the scam I've seen on TV News and in the newspaper, I'm honoured that you called me". After a few seconds of silence... he hung up!  This scam has been in the news and this was probably the 4th call I've received (most are from 000-000-0000 or "Private Caller" but this one actually showed this number.

They called from this number to take a survey...and if I did they offered 2 free passes to go on a cruise. Bunch of buzzos! I whish we could do something to shut them down. I am on all DO NOT CALL LISTS and these guys are still getting away with this.

Just got a new cell 2 weeks ago and from what seems to be the minute of activation this number never stops calling they have also called my home number which is not published hope my service provider has nothing to do with these people obtaining my number...

Lady name Sara, from Processor Services called from Novatel 210 249-0540 this was the original number that came up on my caller id. The lady indicated that I have been served via this message she didn't say what the matter was inregards to.
Please beware scammers have a way of obtaining your data from sites that you visit and call you with THREATS.

Got a call, hung up.  Looked this number online and found this site.  I now have it set to a contact with a no-ring ringtone.  That way they will never bother me again.  The FBI should be investigating these guys!!!!  How long does a fraudulent phone number have to exist for it to be "taken out"?

Guess what - they are back in business in 2012 - when will this be stopped?

They call from a company called Answer Solutions. They do not remove you from their list, they do not answer your questions. If you try, they will hang up on you.

The initial tone claims they give away cruises, but you get nothing even if you follow all the instructions.

It must be a known type of scam.
